My spuds were small and not that many don't know if it was the seed the cold miserable weather or both last year wasn't great either my runner beans were pants as well 🤔

hello we are new to your channel and we are new allotment holders we have had ours since july and still working to get the plot ready for growing next spring lots to do as the plot had nothing on it but an old compost bin its great watching other allotment vlogs as it gives us some new ideas for what we can aim for in the future :)

I am glad you feel the learning curve more than failure, so many people say fail and I don’t agree I like to think I’m still learning. I have to be very careful pruning corguetts plants 😂 I am prone to cutting the stalk. But we like them small and I try to pick daily. Don’t get me started on peppers 🫑 mine are none existent, great onions too you have. We may 🤞🤞🤞 get rain in a day or two, so far less than 5 days since late June. Think the toms need a prune for air flow. Fab update happy growing, Ali 🌞🇨🇦

😂 what few strawberries 🍓 are left don’t make it past the pot I pick them from. It’s a lot of work but we wouldn’t have it any other way because once you get those first harvests it’s all worth it. Hope he doesn’t let all those weeds go to seed. Have a great week, Ali 🌞🇨🇦

Seems I gave you some duff information about Fennel although I was a little bit right….. Technically speaking, all parts of the plant are edible, but most people will find the stalks too tough and fibrous to eat. The leaves can be chopped and used to flavor salads, dressings, marinades and sauces. They tend to have a slightly more citrusy flavor than the base. The base (or bulb) is delicious raw or cooked. It is part of the carrot family
