Technics mk7 is great turntable..
Track ID please?
De eerste is de orginele tussen de 90 en 120 graden bij uitzetten. En bevalt die? Ik vind van wel. Heb dezelfde
it will never be able to brake like the vestax pdx 2300
Vestax is only for one thing and that’s scratching. Anything else they’re useless.
and to listen to music on it, just like any turntable
En bevallen ze de sl's.
I have a problem with my turntable. I don’t like that the tonearm lift only engages the tonearm in the last few millimeters. Is this normal? Could I have damaged it when securing the tonearm on the tonearm rest and moving the tonearm lift upwards?” Feel free to post this under a TH-cam video for assistance or clarification!
I've got reloop rp7000s myself with the adjustable torque and stopping time. When it's torque is set to max the speed at which it can stop is insane, I'll never get over it
My Mk 2s from 1988 breaks on a dime
All these setings for brake the platter set1 set 2 set3 set4 and many others, can be made manual by handmade on real time with the old Technics 1200 MK2, just need practice for what you want maybe slow stop or fast stop, take a look for an example here th-cam.com/video/_oONjYXNE8Q/w-d-xo.html
I’m confused, what are you attempting here please?
God, it's so beautiful!
thunderdoooome
i think break 3 sound not bad
Great 👍 stuff!
Greatness!
Cheers
Last 1 is perfect! But I prefer stopping it on the snare drum! Nice decks! Hopefully I'll get some for Christmas!
Break test on a break record, very meta.
Thanks Henk. Love this version. I spoke with M Perjanik a few years ago (trying to get a copy) and told him I liked his version better than the original - he didn't agree. This version sounds so cool and crisp.
Sounds really 60s maybe even a bit over the top but that gives it its character, I discovered it last year this record and immediately I loved it.
He was wrong, lols...this is the best!
Ive got the pioneer plx 1000 but think they’re better for scratching due to the dodgy pitch. Would the technic mk7 be better for mixing old skool rave ? And if so, what settings would be best for mixing, instead of scratching ? Do these also have the dead spot on the pitch and are the redbull versions better ?
Mine mk7 have the new board and perform like the red bull version, they perform excellent
Hi! Can you clarify something? The manual says there's are two bk switches: bk 1 and bk 2. To get these different brake speeds, are you moving both switches? Or just one of them? Both in the same position each time? Or alternating? Thanks, I don't have these at home but the venue has so I can't check.
Download the manual from the technics website, it states how to set it up from 1 to 4
@@henkvermalen I have done. It doesn't explain why there are TWO break switches. Never mind, I'll experiment when I see them again.
Brake (as in to stop) not Break.
Break as in breakbeat 😂
That Speedfreak Remix 😍 Nice mix!!
are you happy with MK7s? Killer mix by the way 🙂 👍🏻
Yes I am
Id from the record played ? :)
Thanks, Break 3 has that mk2 vibe :) nice choice of music btw 🙏🏻 whats the record if I may ask? F*ing sick 🤤
MK2 vibe? There is no exact setting for MK2. Brake can be adjusted by a single screw... Every piece is having a different setting IMO.
@@djszido I thought the break can be adjusted by the small switches and is same on every model, or am I wrong? Getting a MK7 in a few months
@@arminschmidt3888 on the MK2 it is a screw inside: th-cam.com/video/zxSnQsLbNiE/w-d-xo.html On MK7 it can be a switch, idk... If it is a binary switch, then there is no real adjustment between the two options.
@@djszido ah you meant on MK2 sorry I didn't have my second coffee 😄 I didn't think of that because my two old MK2 feel pretty much the same when hitting stop, but makes sense. I am not worried though for MK7 I guess I'll be happy with one of the settings and just run with it. I play house so the break is not crucial :)
Which exact settings do I have to make to set the TQ1 for the torque setting and to use the BK1 for the brake setting? Cheers..
There is no right or wrong I like the high torque settings specially for long blends, it makes speeding up or slowing down less noticeable
@@henkvermalen quality advice right there, much appreciated
does your mk7 have dead areas on the pitch slider problem?
It goes to plus 8 in the plus 7 so there is a bit of dead space. The mk5g had the same issue
@@henkvermalen it seems to be fixed on the redbull edition th-cam.com/video/XI4FHrrM0qY/w-d-xo.html
All latest (GAE, G, GR) Technics went out with this issue. In MK7 it was solved in the third batch. It's really embarassing that a "digital" reissue of the MK2 golden standard not only has cheap button, cheap plastic, cheap arm, cheap cover, ecc. but also issues with slider. I would never buy a Hapin/Chinese turntable.. but if you can buy a decent original MK2 buy these, not MK7. Ok, if you don't have choice (Chinese vs Technics), go for MK7.
setting 3 is best
Yes but sometimes for slower music 2 is nice.
Cool
Kitteh!
So cute! 😍
Jaaaaaaa...super cool !! Waar een sebatical al niet goed voor is !!!
sounds pretty nice to me
