I use the lowest possible dose technique by not using centring points, only accurate collimation. th-cam.com/video/4W1g0UVOGq0/w-d-xo.htmlsi=8f2Vxf8j6k5rjl1V
In terms of patient radiation exposure, is a RS the same as regular Chest X-Ray at 0.01-0.02 mSv? Thank you. Let's say 3 images for a left/right Rib Series to diagnose a patient with suspected fracture, what would be the cumulative OR individual exposure. I believe RS adjust the power and field of view not sure how much it changes the radiation amount to the patient.
Not limiting the radiation to the side of the chest with the injury has increased the dose to this patient by 10 times, as it looks like the neck, skull, abdomen and arms were included in the primary beam
I fell on the ground while going for a run in the morning.... 🥺 There are small scratches on the buttock...the doctor says it will go away in three weeks. Two weeks passed. It still hurts a lot. Will it change soon? When I walk there is nothing wrong but when I sit there is a lot of pain.......Please reply, what can I do sir..... 🥺🥺
I'm suffering this is 2 years, from Doctor to doctor..one of them told me may be I have SI joints and may be you need injections!! One of them said to me maybe you need pelvic therapy!!one of them told me that I need spinal Decompression! I live in north side of Illinois! Help me please I have low back pain and pressure around my sacrum and tailbone coccyx and low back pain and around my buttocks muscles too and thighs and highblood pressure! Help me please with any advices 🥺🙏🙏
It is a pity that poor collimation increase the dose to the patient by about 3. Including the sternum on a lateral thoracic is an instant fail. This video shows what can be done with accurate collimation and positioning without using centring points. th-cam.com/video/KWf6rFOFlI4/w-d-xo.html
Doc. Your demo and lecture is very articulate and knowledge even for a layperson! It's a delight to listen you in your sonorous and musical voice. You could have been a prolific singer, had you tried your forte! Anyway, my kudos and greeting to you from Pakistan, Doc
jwcreative possibly yes. When a bone heals sometimes that calcification can be seen on an X-ray. Depends on how it healed and what type of fracture it was
