GO Gamebreaker #1: 20 moves to SWING the game
K7 is a terrible move. I would've started ignoring moves here a long time ago, but if you do continue locally, the move you played is a lot better. White has weak stones that don't even cut you!! They are worthless! Stop trying to capture them! The problem with DDK games is no one is thinking about how small these local exchanges are. Tenuki tenuki tenuki!!!
Ai review is useless for 10k games. There's a reason you haven't improved in more than 6 months. You're making big mistakes starting from move 3 and have poor understanding of shape, efficiency, opening theory, sente Stop trying to teach people. No one is going to learn anything watching you review your games with AI.
Bro why are you so rude
@superisegd6770 I don't know what possesses a 10k to think they can teach people. You can reach 10k in 3 months. If you're still there after years, clearly something is very wrong with your process and others won't benefit from following it. I'm not sure why YT recommended this dude's videos to me
EDIT: Also Nets are very helpful. When ladders don't work :p Ai was telling you to sacrifice the 5 stones (worth 10 points). White is already alive so having white play two more moves to kill of your stones gives you a chance to take big territory worth at least 8 points elsewhere (top mid) plus influence which is worth more. Since your black group on the bottom is already alive, losing the 5 stones isn't detrimental. Allowing white to escape and reduce your top potential was worth more than the 10 points hence AI recommendation. Hope this helps! Congrats on the victory though!
Your intuition to play shape point at L4 was good. But I think that the move at M5 would have been more severe if you are comfortable with seeing life/death problems. If you capped your opponent from the get go, they would have a very hard time to live in your area (as you pointed out already). It is very advantageous for black and as they are struggling for life, you are building influence in the event they do escape as you saw from your game. Fight when you have strength nearby especially on the third line :D
Just throw in at R1 Or play at Q1. if black plays at T3 White takes at T1 Black retakes at T2. Then throw in at R1 for a snap back formation. Black needs two moves in order to take your small corner in the bottom right :D Overall well done!
Good analysis, that would be a solid play!
You have good instinct for global positions in the game. Your analysis of territory is really helpful when you are drawing it out. It seems from your reviews of your games you are coming back to the games after couple days or are you doing the review directly after the game ends?
I enjoy the global positioning, but I need more practice with the smaller moves and joseki. Some of these games are a few years old so I'm coming back to them with fresh eyes, but I have some recent ones and soon they'll all be relatively fresh games. I've tried live games but they take forevvver so the condensed versions are probably better to watch
@@SchwartzyPlaysGo i see I see. Yea I figured as much since your analysis were really spot on. You had some moments in your talk where you were pondering what move you played before so it did seem like you took a break then came back. Not a bad thing btw lol
I accidentally did a comment in the reply thread lol Hoping this is in the right spot now. Just came across your channel and saw this game. Really like the calmness you bring and the use of the pen :) The attachment in the top right corner is a question asked by your opponent to see if you want to play influence or take the corner. As you initially played 4-4 in the beginning, you made an initial statement of wanting to play an influence based game. Anyways great vid!
Good analysis... do you prefer influence or taking the corner? And thanks for watching, glad you enjoy it!
@@SchwartzyPlaysGo depends on how the opponent plays their starting position. Im starting to train myself in understanding the statements made by the opponent in the opening and basing my overall strategy from there. I’m thinking you are more of a 4-4 player based on your videos?
@@indiesn7827 I tend to like 4-3 corners so that I don't have to defend a 3-3 attack later in the game
I like the chinese rulez more, because you dont need to take prisoners.
I like the Chinese rules too... they're simpler to understand
This is why you always need to play the dame points. There are some Aji in B7 area as well that would make taking the Dame points needed to have B7 played to remove them for sure.
True! Gotta get all those precious points and use up that aji!
Great video!!
Glad you liked it, cheers!
so,good
Thanks!
Great game! Those were some good plays, a 50 point swing!
It was a wild one, glad you enjoyed!
"Play away from thickness" and you just play near thikness coz he gets too much teritorry in your opinion :D So, yeah it turns out that I expected - you get weak running group and he get territory elsewhere. C12 is the reason - you just splitted him too early - when you just can get big points elsewhere and get better result. Instead you tried do steal points from him as much as possible and you give him a wall :P And lest check few moves earlier - you played D3 and you left too easy approach to this corner for black - C4 should be much easier for you to placy, because then black will be the person who is playing between enemy stones. But you played D3 and also move on the second line which free strength to his group, like a "Thank you" move. So, my point is - you should definietly work on opening and direction of play and also dont be greedy. Anyway, thank you for go content, because we need it more!
So many lessons to learn from each game, thanks for the feedback! I don't have very much training so I'm constantly trying to learn new concepts about the game. I definitely made a few mistakes in this one, but it ended up working out in the end! Thanks for watching :)
Show me a play video.
Live videos are quite a bit longer, but I'll sneak a few in! Thanks for the feedback
