£150 an EICR ? Your a mug mate
Lmao what about the tiles that have nails in them… like all tiles lmao come one
neat job mate, well done!😎😎
Hi mate how do you get from one wall unit to the other?
Hi, you have to put the cable in on 1st fix. I chased all the sockets and switches in and pulled this in to link them
Some cowboys don't cut under the tile for the bracket. You did a good neat job
🤠 👋
Is this in English?
Left all the shit in the bottom of the old box. "done" 🤣
So you would prefer to watch a video cleaning sh*t out of a box. Your watching the wrong videos buddy, thanks for the comment though 🤣
Yeah i got caught too
So when do we get a video for actual installation of outside wall flush meter box! DIY job? The debate about how to fit the damp course pvc before fitting box. No gas line of course. Often people debate the validity of how to prevent damp bridging the air gap between inner / outer course. Look forward to reading and seeing this job for real and not just diagrams the fuel the debate. Thanks. R
Hey, what's that white box where the two live feeds go into please (seen at 5:12 - not the LED driver) - Just trying to do some research for my home project
Hi, it's a Hager J501 junction box. Normally used for down light joints, but it's universal but only rated to 10A I think.
@@essexcountyelectricalltd thanks :)
Hi. Love the videos. But looks like it’s plastic, so it’s not going to meet the British Standard. This is what you want. www.meterboxesdirect.co.uk/pub/media/wysiwyg/downloads/105140_GRP_Overbox_Electric_Recessed_Mark_2.pdf
so the whole weight of the bag on the straps is reliant on the rear zip. well overpriced, for what it is, cant see any difference between this and any other like the CK magna or stanley.
It's better quality than Stanley and ck in my opinion but each to their own
£300. It's essentially a full day's work realistically. (Although £300 is slightly shy of a dayrate which is more like £360.)
couldn’t understand a word !!!!
Out of interest who taught you to use the trowel? Great idea
I was shown the idea 14 years ago
What is that instrument have u been used by pushing test button?
nice. I just put a foot under tile removing weight completely. It fucks up your shoe with time but its faster.
looks amazing. can i connect the drivers to fused spurs? and if so what amperage?
Hi, I don't see why not put a 1A fuse on it
Nicd video mate. Did you connect a twin amd earth to the driver as an input? If so, do you just isolate the earth with a connector block?
Excellent, thanks a lot worked for me.
This was very helpful. Thanks.
Thank you so much for clear explanation.
Thanks for the video! It would have been great to see how you did the 90 degree turn and some commentary on how you connect the separate pieces of the strip
Thanks for watching and the feedback I'll bear that in mind for the next one.
I agree - come to the comments for the exact same information to see if I could find out. The 90 degree bend and the final wiring (not the connections). Other than that, the lighting looks very nice indeed.
For this strip just put a small kink in it to flat bend 90. There is probably some better alternatives on the market now to make to bend I filmed this a long while ago now. Thanks for watching
Hello. Is it possible to connect the zappi to a smartphone directly without going through a router? Thanks in advance for your response.
Yes it is if your talking about hotspot spotting your phone, but it is not recommended as a permanent solution and wouldn't comply to smart charging regulations.
Mine won’t reset. Just says busy.
Try switching zappi off and back on again
@@essexcountyelectricalltd it turned out I had to press the WPS button on the home router to allow the Zappi to reconnect. Thanks.
Mis-leading packaging therefore won't buy one.
Have you the link for these pal?
amzn.eu/d/00JhgT7. Here you go mate
PV ground bracket +Easy and fast installation without punch holes. Match 980mm-1134mm width solar module..flat roof, open area
for roof , you have the suitable Mounting system without punch holes, like ESDEC, right?
Nice, gonna try it! Still think I'll stick to my claw hammer. Basically does the same thing + you can hold your tile up by rotating the claw part all the way underneath the tile. I also use the rubber handle to push open sturdy tiles. Might be worth a shot yourself❤
Thanks for watching, always works well for me but there are a few tools you can use, I usually use my boot to kick tiles up. The trowel is especially good on rosemary tiles. 👍
professor
Excellent Vid, thanks.
Thanks for watching
God the music 😖
Thanks for listening
@@essexcountyelectricalltd the music is fine but the volume is wrong. Can barely hear you speak so turn the sound up then get deafened by the sound effects and backing track.
You fitted the box upside down. Fitted like that gravity will eventually cause the latch to drop so that the door unlocks and swings open and closed in the wind... that's what breaks them in the first place. If you fit it the other way up then any vibration over time caused by wind etc. will not cause the door to open as the latch needs to move up to unlock rather than down.
You can fit it either way
@@essexcountyelectricalltd yes, I know you can fit it either way but if you fit it the other way up then the door will stay closed. Look at the design of the latch... It's obvious.
🤦♂️
Great video by the way.
Thank you
You made that look easy lol. In the starter pack, do you get everything you need or do you need extra bits like the hub?
You can buy some in kits then add the extras you want, the quality is great never had a problem in about 3 years
Nice channel from Liverpool
Great video
It will always be a compromise doing jobs through a third party. U can do the bread snd butter clients on the cheap but when u work private clients etc then get the right money. That's the idea anyway
Get a better plastic pipe cutter for half the price from Screwfix. Don’t use more force turn the pipe for easier cutting of 25mm conduit.
Hey I have 4 100 watt solar panels that need to be mounted on a roof. It about 45 degrees. The only problem is I don’t want to drill into the roof or anything like that. Is there any way I could mount them without damaging or drilling.
What's the roof type
@@essexcountyelectricalltd its regular shingles for what I know, the wall is next to it so it’s like a roof extension on the side of a house, many I could attach something from the wall like string
@@Anerder772 not done it that way tbh
maybe you need the Punch-free bracket
Can you fit the driver underneath the cabinet next to the leds?
Yes you can dependant on driver. It worked better for me doing this way
Price is fantastic. Is it still working 3 years on. Would you still recommend it?
I still have it but upgraded and bought the 9118 much better as I was getting crazy readings from it tbh I didn't trust it even after it was calibrated. I had both to compare and both were different
@@essexcountyelectricalltd yeah I’ve been looking at the 9118 too. Thanks
@cglees it's a great unit for the price. Although I have upgraded again to the TIS MFT pro but do miss the simplicity of the dilog sometimes 👍
@@essexcountyelectricalltd 👍
Hi! If i want to connect Zappi to my network, I will use LAN cable. But do i need another one for phase readers? (Grid)
Hi, you will get a ct sensor along with the zappi which you can either hard wire or use the harvi to wireless transmit the data. If you have solar pv then you need to purchase another one. Hope that helps
@@essexcountyelectricalltd Thank You for your reply. Helped!
At 1.14 you say "when you are searching the WIFI" where are you doing that from , your phone,? and when/where does it ask for the password changed
Yes from your phone

Use a hammer

Sorry about that I was using my mobile to record
I really want one but no one i can ask to drill it..
Solar panels cleaning robots manufacture
What happens if it's cloudy for a week then what?
You can use Eco mode that supplements from the grid if surplus is not greater than 1.4kw
