    Great job mate, but Yeah, that's was easy with such Huge Screw (LOL) ... tray to do that with my SFU1204 with 2.381mm balls ... I lost 4-5 of them on a floor and of course I never found them and I end up now with an 70USD Useless Screw (CRY) .. . Thank You

    Really good video. It would have helped to see a little more detail on how you marked the start of the screw. I get the concept of where you put the sharpie mark, but having a good visual on where the sharpie is and what the screw looks like relative to that mark is much better to see first-hand.

    I want to state this is the best method to put the nuts back together. I tried others and almost threw it away and bought another despite I had to machine it for better fit. Sadly I installed it backward for what I wanted but it only costs me 8mm of travel. You won’t find me ever doing that again.

    i was planning to do a video on this method until i saw your video. i think this is the most reliable, easiest and fastest method to repack a ballnut. i can't really understand why people try to place the balls on their track one by one, using grease.

    hi, can you tell me how many number balls have a nut type 2505-4 ?

  • @heeder777
    @heeder777 6 ปีที่แล้ว

    So when you retired from herding cats you moved onto repacking ball nuts. I’ve also seen guys dropping in the balls into the screw from the removable silicone inserts. Either way nice job! The screwdriver comment cracked me up because these little ground balls are harder than sun aged cow shit. Lots of luck scratching them.

    Dear Friends, a question how many balls must have a Ø40 Diameter Spindle Step = 10 mm with recirculation tube, there is some formula to know the number of balls, thank you very much for the attention Ball spindle code is 4010-2.5

    Very informative but fucking painful to watch and listen to, typical Yank Want, takes 10 minutes to to do a 5 minute job, less yapping and more tapping

      Hardened nut, so a regular screwdriver does nothing to it.

    Hi! Thanks a lot for sharing, otherwise I'd never had a clue as to refill my 2005 nut. Do you know if the bearing of the 2005 are the same size as the ones for the 1605?

  • @KrzysztofKorpik
    @KrzysztofKorpik 11 ปีที่แล้ว

    I know for example that you must leave the free space between balls. One ball free space. Watch this video "CNC-anya SFU 1605-3"
