I have been an amateur film maker since the days of Super 8 but since 2020 have produced 15 films mainly based on the area of the far North of Scotland (Caithness and Sutherland) in the UK and South West Nova Scotia ( Digby Neck) in Canada. Some of these films have won UK competitions or have gained nominations for the British International Amateur Film Festival (BIAFF) or been commended as representing the United Kingdom at Union Internationale du Cinéma ( UNICA ) .
