Pain sometimes extends to back of my neck. Tmj problem was confirmed through an MRI. I am visiting a maxillofacial surgeon for treatment. He has suggested for the arthrocentesis process. Will my probelm be solved? Also he has asked for an MRI again, because my earlier MRI is 2 years old. Taking MRI with open mouth for TMJ was very painful. Is there alternative way to get MRI for TMJ? Please let me know.
