Abandoned Gainsborough School Drone Footage
Arial Footage of the abandoned Infant school in Gainsborough.

Gainsborough’s Infant's School was built and opened on 3rd May 1906 replacing the Bridge Road and Hickman Street Schools. Initially (the first three decades of its life) it was an infants’ (up to age 7) school. In August 1930 it re-organised to accommodate Infants, Junior Girls and Senior Girls. The Gainsborough Lea Road School became Gainsborough Lea Road County Primary School and Gainsborough Lea Road Secondary Modern School for girls around 1945 it had its own indoor pool which was built circa 1966 in the end ground floor classroom.
It was closured in 1993 and was converted into a business centre (the Waterfront Enterprise Centre), until around 2010. Since then it has been left empty and slowly fallen into disrepair and has suffered numerous incidents of vandalism.

My 2003 Subaru Impreza popping and banging down hill and a little bit of acceleration, great exhaust noise from the straight through pipe and Ninja Backbox. try and ignore the odd cyclist who feels he needs a 200m run up to a corner (I wouldn't indicate as early as him in my car...)

I ride a pushbike, motorbike and drive a car. I know these guys - head-to-foot lycra and tanked up on adrenaline. For them, every ride is the Tour de France and they absolutely *have* to win. They ride aggressively and are beligerent when you politely ask them to be considerate. Last time I had a run-in with one of these twats, I ended up saying, "How much does your bike weigh? 10Kg?
