@@harrisonkriel5870 Thanks!!!
Called,”Black-Jack”, illegal as Brass Knuckles, Switch-Blade, or my EX !!!
lol. Police memorabilia collection piece display only.
@@JBCaudillKnivesplease explain this history and function/use? I’m interested in knowing about what this is and how it was used and in what situations it was used. I’m assuming it’s like a chunk of leaf wrapped in leather and used for slapping someone who you don’t like?
@@ChristopherNayar-t2clook up leather sap 😊
Wasted a perfectly good Hardee's coupon 😂
@@darrylsm 😆
Can you make one with stag?,
@@nickchapman1330 I’ve about quit making them. Thanks
Wow! That's a sweet knife!!
@@bcvpiper8356 Thank you!!!

@@MarkSchmidt-w6s Thank you!
I like ur wood carving skills, and hey, you should make a fishing pole out of oak and put a zebco on the pole and stuff
Thanks I’m not that skilled. 😂
That blade is beautiful! Nice work!
Thank you!!!

Thank you very much!! Very creative process
Are the chunks of steel to help maintain the heat , even when the oven cycles?! Just curious
Yeah it keep the temperature more controlled. Less swings. Thanks!
@JBCaudillKnives perfect! Thank you for that short vid! I was in the process of tempering a blade I quenched today actually and needed some advice. Thank you for that as well. Hammer on⚒️
@@builtforthewild8865 thank you for stopping by!
The temp swings of an unmodified toaster oven are ridiculously high. Tested mine in 70F ambient temp, found 375F. Tested in 60F ambient temp and 375 was over 450. Thanks for this idea! Another thing that is keeping your temps more consistent is having a wall next to the oven’s thermostat.
@JohnDoe-ls2ww Yes the swings are very high on one without some mass inside. Thanks for the comment and tip.
Just rehandled all my 20 year old chef knives (9 of them), with elder Burl scales, copper mosiac pins and Hardened stainless colby bolts. 15 coats of tru-oil and then 3 coats of gun stock wax. It’s been on my to do list for 5 years.
Nice! Feels good to get something on the to do list done.
This was the most dangerous piece of kitchenware my grandmother ever used. She was a pro with it. Miss her and her green beans.
Yes it can be dangerous, but makes great food.
Thanks for sharing this information. You rock
Thanks!!!
Nice 👍.
Thank you sir
How much boss?
Hello sir! I’m sending that one and 3 more to custom leather when I get them done. Not sure what the leather will be so unsure about pricing right now. Thank you
@@JBCaudillKnives Sounds great. I will keep checking the site. Or shoot me a message when they are done. Thank you.
@@ronland1821sounds good! Thank you sir!
You need to get some more on your website since I’ve almost bought them all 👊. I really like your blades. The fit on your handles is great. The filet knife showed up today as well. I’m going to use it in the kitchen. Thank you sir.
Yes sir I should have a one up today or tomorrow. I’m getting 4 ready for custom leather that I’m sending out. I really appreciate the support. That is a great kitchen knife I have one like it in my kitchen, use it all the time.
It’s on the website sir.
@@JBCaudillKnives That’s a little guy. Very nice

Great to hear! Glad your happy with it sir. Thanks for the support, it means alot!
Do you sell any of your customs? If so what’s the market like for custom knives? I’ve been thinking bout getting into making some lately. Especially since my old Buck 103 is starting to show some wear after 4 years of straight carry haha.
Yes I sell them @jbcaudillknives.com. I’m still growing a following. Once you have a good following and sell a quality product it should sell. Thanks
@@JBCaudillKnives what would one like this one go for?
@@midwestrebel5319 that one is $225 right now.
@@JBCaudillKnives that’s a damn good deal man. If I wasn’t broke I’d buy it for 300 just cause I love your work but I gotta fix my truck first haha
All good man. I know how that goes for sure. Thank you!
Love it man. Hell yea
Thanks!!!
clean af. looks like it cuts like butter
Thank you!!!
Love the colour but ye should've chamford the front of those handle scales. Ye blade , however, looks well sutied
It feels great. The edges are all rounded. No hot spots. Thanks
Beautiful design and craftsmanship
Thanks!
Your doing it wrong you never cut towards yourself.
It’s all about skill level and control. You can do it just have to be careful.
Also if you’ll notice the angle of the blade and hand. The hand becomes the stop if and when the blade slips.
That looks nice
Thank you!
Where can I get this?

@@JBCaudillKnives another quick question. What's your opinion on phenolic handles. Like what Buck Knives use on their 119s and their 103s?
