Hi. We were just in Munich last month and we got to explore the olympic park and we were amazed how much it still looks like it did as I remember watching as an 8 year old boy. I myself have always wanted to visit there because I was so sad about what happened with the massacre. I don’t know why being so young why it effected me. Great place to sit and people watch

This place has so many memories for me. My grandparents were managers at this complex located at 01:04 (right) for 45 years. Since 2009 I have been living in Greece, however I was born in Munich and I lived there. The best childhood memories of my life are in this city and on this street. On New Year's we went out and at that point 01:07 I was throwing sparklers while everything was covered in snow. My grandfather loved Munich very much and especially the place where he lived until he was 82 years old. He had come from Greece to Munich to remember all the years we were there. Unfortunately, he passed away 40 days ago in Greece and his advice to me was to return to Munich to rebuild my life because things are very difficult in Greece. Thanks for this video because until I visit these places I'm starving from here! Rest in Peace my PAPPOU.

I'm going to have to learn about the kinds of activities you do in Germany after you mentioned what you are planning to do. Sounds interesting! I am happy we got to see you at the airport that day. What a fun way to end our trip to Munich. When I told my wife "I think I see cycopunk". She thought I was crazy. Then I said " I am going to see if it's him" She really thought I was crazy. I have to say, I am glad it was you. It would have been extremely awkward if it wasn't. Keep up the great work with your videos. We especially love your Munich walks!

Prior to do the Olympics, it's a new Olympic Aquatics Center in need. Or maybe the possibility of using the SAP Garden for this.. would be amazing, as Olympiahalle(renovated) still hosting the gymnastics.

the logo has all the letters, n, j, and the d. and its also made to resemble the layout of the state of new jersey,,, one of the most clever logos of all time

I really like the opera in München and have been a dozen or so times dating from a "Rosenkavalier" in 1990. Aside from your evening, I have liked everything I've seen there. I would normally go to Covent Garden as I live in London but, for the cost of an airtrip, I can see three operas at the Staatsoper for the price of one in London. So, you skipped the last of the "Die Nase" - it is not such a financial risk in this theatre as it would be in London where the top price next season will be £300! The Federal, State and City governments see going to the opera and the Gasteig as an ordinary part of everyday enjoyment and subsidise it accordingly. You are lucky people - I wish I were there now. R

It really is a majestic city.
