Love your greenhouse and the vintage decor! I'm sure your cats love it there? Always been a dream of mine to have a green house one day. Wanted to have it as a spot to have tea and cookies with a good book. And a place to keep all my orchids. In our country it is way too hot for a greenhouse though (40 degrees plus sometimes in summer). And the ones we get here sometimes have solid panels to temper the heat. For now my orchids live in the bathroom and I get to admire them in the bath. :D So its not all lost. If you don't mind kindly advise as to how you got the glass panels at your home. Did they deliver it? Glass is so difficult to transport. Thank you

Yesss, I think I remember seeing this dress when I was first following your channel! It's a beautiful piece! I didn't realize it would be so sparkly, but I think that makes it even more fun. It looks gorgeous on you. The green against the peach and other colours is so wonderful. I'm sorry to hear about the trolls. Usually they're people who are going through a very hard time in their lives and lash out. Not to excuse their behaviour, but it can be good to keep in mind that it comes out of their own unhappiness and fear. I hope your gathering goes very well!

I have been thinking about purchasing a dress from Petallush. These are all cute on you. This is a second video I have seen about the reasons to wear a dress. It must be a sign. Haha. As mom’s we are so busy investing our time and energy into our families, we sometimes forget about ourselves. Now in my mid 50’s, I am thinking about transitioning into wearing more dresses. I bought the Cotswolds Marie dress. It fits perfectly, but of course shows more cleavage than I would like. I bought a light pink satin camisol with lace trim to wear under the dress and it totally looks like it came with the dress! Cleavage problem solved!

I love the back and sleeves on that dress! And I did not expect this crossover to the lolita/taobao realm, lol. On the other hand, I don't think I really got lolita until I started getting interested in princess dresses, historybounding, etc., I think there's a lot of overlap between what lolitas want and what people who have an interest in romantic, fairytale like fashion are interested in. I find it kind of a fascinating subculture because there's a lot of de-emphasis on body type, colour seasons, etc. They focus a lot more on co-ordinating pieces with different accessories and self-expression. As for me, I'm content to pillage lolita items as needed for the effect I want. I just wish there wasn't such a big push for "vegan leather" and the like in their accessories. I get it, but I want durable items, and I'm trying to reduce my plastic consumption anyways! Anyways, I'm glad you covered this. I think I'm most interested in getting a linen dress for my next purchase or make, once I have the money saved up.

When I was getting married (1997) I was concerned that the dress I loved was $900. My sister who married before me regretted not getting her dream dress and told me to go for it so I wouldn’t have any regrets like her. I did buy it and still love it all these years later! Im getting remarried and have found a dress at JJ’s in the special occasions section that I love and it’s under $500 Canadian. You could donate them to a place that gives prom dresses to girls who can’t afford them.

Yeah, I'm a big believer in colour and vibrancy. I teach at a high school and kids are drawn to my dresses because they're colourful or creative prints. Life's too short for beige.

There’s minimalism as a way of life and minimalism as an aesthetic. They do not have to be together. I love both, but we are all different.

Can’t help, but think You followed wrong type of influencers. Have you ever watched Use Less content Alyssa Beltempo or Christina Mychas ? They are my favourite you tubers. It took me about 3 years to go from large and colourful, mostly eclectic collection of random styles wardrobe to small collection of the essence of my true style and genuine expression of my personality. I love my wardrobe. I feel true joy every time I wear my clothes. Most of my clothes are black, grey, navy or green, but they are also my best colours to compliment my skin tone and my absolute favourite. I guess I own You Tube my own video about it. Minimalism is not enforced on me in any way, rather it is natural part of me that I discovered. I finally feel, that I live in harmony with my inner self and that gives me peace. 😊😊😊
