Hmmm, yeah. The XL one is louder. The sound of the legal one is still very nice though.

I mean, I never drove the red thunder without the catalytic converters, as this is highly illegal where I live. AFAIK this makes a lot of difference. Those tubes don't exist in the Malparidos exhaust, they solved the emission problem differently (I don't know how). With and without DB killer, the sound is better than the red thunder in my opinion. More volume and more aggressive. Deeper is hard to say, as the RT has less volume. Hard to describe. :) If you live in europe, getting the Malparidos one is an absolute no-brainer if you ask me. It's also cheaper and it has the option for heat shield. The red thunder produced a lot of heat (check it's form and compare it to the malparidos one, RT has both motor exits take the same route). I had to switch because the Öhlins suspension was not compatible with red thunder. No regrets.

@@TrudleR thankyou for respons ! At the moment i have a red thunder but it has a crack. Where is the E mark (approve) on the exhaust en do you get a card with approval with the exhaust ? Does it have 12mm or 18mm o2 bungs connections?

@@ricardokenneth5792 I'm not sure if it has both (with an adapter), but it has the biggers ones. I have to check for the number, but probably where the logo is as usually. And yes, you get the paper. :)

my bike is in winter mode right now. but i guess 10-12cm at the biggest spot.

Die Sissy-Bar ist die XL Version von motea.de, wenn ich mich recht erinnere. Sattel ist Direktimport von Saddlemen USA, mit orangenen Nähten und schwarzem Logo (kannst dunso konfigurieren). Saddlemen Step-Up Seat. Moment... sehe grade, dass ich den in diesem Video noch gar nicht hatte.

Flaps are always closed on startup EXCEPT if you hit the button before starting the engine! I always do that. Don't want to start it up silent and then open the flaps like most youtubers. start the electronics, open the flaps via button, then ignite the engine!

@@TrudleR Ich selbst denke ja nicht, dass gerade bei diesem original Luftfilter etwas zu verbessern wäre - bzw. mit einem Austausch eine (nennenswerte) Verbesserung von Sound und Leistung erzielbar ist.

Danke für die Antwort! Bin letztens eine Streetbob Euro5 mit Serien Auspuff gefahren und da war wirklich sehr sehr wenig Sound. Die Jekill scheint aber schon ein heftiger Unterschied zu sein

@@veight201 Also denke Euro4 Serie ist auch leise. Bei Euro 5 ist die Lautstärke noch nicht eingrschränkt per Gesetz, dass soll mit "Euro 5.1" in ca 3 Jahren kommen, hab ich irgendwo gelesen. Neu sind glaube ich strengere Vorschriften beim Abgas und man braucht 2 Lambda Sonden. Bin mir aber nicht 100% sicher.

Also es sind die Normalen. NICHT die Shorties (falls das nicht nur die Krümmeranlage betrifft)! Aber immer noch kürzer als die originalen Töpfe.

Genau. Habe auch die Street in Orange und mich entschieden, das Kennzeichen original so zu lassen. Auspuff kommt auch von J& H ran- deine Demo kommt genau richtig . Hört sich super an.

@@tinokruger1503 Ich hab sie wieder verkauft. 😬🫣 Eigentlich nur wegen dem Ton. Habe mir ne Dyna geholt. Die neuen Harleys unterscheiden sich von Honda, Yamaha und BMW nicht mehr wirklich. Habe lange gedacht, mit genug Änderungen bekommt man das peinliche hochtönige Wimmern weg, aber das bekommt man nicht gefixt. Muss was mit den Gegengewichten im Motor oder dem Frame-Mount zu tun haben. Auf einen Harley treffen kannst du die M8 von den älteren Motoren ganz klar auseinander halten. Auch die krassesten Biker mit den heftigsten Umbauten bekommen den Ton des M8 Motors nicht weg. Das war für mich der Punkt an dem ich dann aufgehört habe mit Umbauen und mir ne 2017er Low Rider S kaufte.

No tune needed. Jekyll & Hyde exhaust (EU regulated, has flaps in it that close on certain speeds and RPMs). I think I didn't get a tune, because I didn't do a stage 1 upgrade and just ordered the exhaust with the bike. I love the customizability of this exhaust, but the regulation with the flaps is absolutely ridiculous. :)
