Tony Elliott meets and talks with owners, trainers and jockeys in the horse racing world.
Newmarket's new rising star trainer
From a young age, Alice competed at Pony Clubs and on the international eventing circuit, and a career in the horseracing industry was always destined. She gained a lot of experience working for prominent trainers Henrietta Knight, Mick Channon and David Simcock, had a spell working in Australia at Warwick Farm and Royal Randwick learning about trackwork and speed, and rode 11 winners as an apprentice and amateur jockey.
Alice is now based at Machell Place Stables, a stones throw from Cadland Cottage and Warren Hill and training for Tony Elliott of Rogues Gallery Racing.

Do these race horses ever get time where they can be turned out in the fields where they can be with friends and forage and roll and run around naturally...
Can I ask do these horses get any turnout or are they boxed 24/7 , because every animal needs to express normal behaviour and it’s written in the welfare act .
Best place in England Warren hill
Great view of Warren Hill
Bookmakers sponsoring trainers is not a very good idea it’s very dodgy.
Absolutely stinks shouldn’t be aloud
Sponsoring the pundits is just as bad, they have them in their pockets. No impartiality
It’s well known that the racing post is written by the bookies for the bookies. The average yards can only survive by landing a decent bet . The average winner in a class 6 race on a wet Wednesday night at Newcastle will win the connections a few grand . Alice will charge the training fee of 2k monthly approximately to the owners so you don’t need to be clever to realise that the whole industry works on the winning bet. The bookies are in on it and if there is a horse which if it wins it will cost the bookies millions because it’s in a 7 leg accumulation bet , you can bet the bookies will tell the connections it ain’t winning and here is 100k to make sure it doesn’t is the narrative
Greyhounds too, they got it all sewn up
Another good watch
Dubawi what a horse and stallion ❤️ Pinatubo the fastest horse ive seen, would have been best sprinter since dayjur only for he was horrendously campaigned, its one of the worst travesties in racing he was never allowed be a sprinter, he was never a miler.
I had a number of shares with Tony Elliot including 1 share with rogue lightning which sold for 1 million and he says he's in it for the love of racing,he says the shares are for life, well mine was took from me with no monies exchanged,my opinion he is actually a rogue, they never put my shares up for sale when I asked,my solicitor is looking into it,so be aware,Mr A potter
Did anyone spot Micheal Owen the ex England footballer in the film ?
Brilliant Video and insight from all the team. Up the Rogues 🔴⚪️
Cracking video, really enjoyed the update, and looking forward to an exciting summer ahead, cheers.
Who is the 'Interviewer' ?? Tony Who ?? What is his background ... No Mention anywhere ..Just says 'Tony' in Description ????
Well done Tony
Jamie looked very embarrassed at the start when this guy starts talking about what a great career he had regarding classics. I think jamie thought who is this guy😂 As classic tallys go jamie hasn't really won many Richard Hughes was the same and Gordon Richards only won 1 derby. . Myself I think jamie could have been a great but he was a bit emotional. .
He trained a horse didn’t he did it win.
Alice Jack Jones and James Owen lucky carrots...
How Ironic is this - Takes his horses away in March 24 - but he talks about karma 😂 Guess there will be some karma alright - Tom Clover very professional about it all
It's a shame the old great horses weren't buried there. All my passed over horses are buried on the farm, even though I had to acquire special permission to do so.
What a great interview - well done Rogues !!!
Barney was the biggest cro0k in racing but the interviewer never heard a bad word about him🤯🤯🤯
The Rowley Mile: “It’s worth a Google”
Great interview 1 of the best jockeys ever he was to young at the time he took number 1 at position at aidens but did he prove them wrong top class
he proved f all proved what??? he's still as bad as he ever was Jamie Piggott was a better jockey and Emma Ramsden was a far better rider than both
i never knew his daddy was already half dead when he had him , wow that was as late as when he holds one up for a late run
to be fair to Jamie he is a shite Jockey even listen now obviously lovely mind got rid of him ......when he's good he is VERY good and when he's bad well, he's shite fair?
Sir Mark , read my story about Hasten To Add you Genius of a Man! :))))))
how this interview got 133 likes i have no idea he is a terrible interviewee atrocious just like how his training has gone down the piss hole since Sangster died absolutely awful
Peter used to moonlight as Mr Blobby on the Late Late Breakfast show
Cash Machine - retired at 3? Awkward
That was terrific. Went down some interesting sideroads and despite watching dozens of previous interviews, new things I never knew. Well done.
Omg.. this is the 2nd interview I’ve seen with this guy in red ! Stop interrupting your guest ! We’re here to hear your guest , not your stories 🙄 👍🏴
Here’s a tip for the interviewer- the GUEST is the one we want to hear from , stop interrupting him for gods sake man 🤷♂️.. he’s a well known raconteur and wit as well as a good trainer … let him speak ! That aside , great interview 👌 👍🏴
What a marvellous and so interesting interview brilliant
You should write that book Peter it would enrich the lives of many, some might say why that chap is a broken man, but everyone knows you will have the last laugh.God Bless You .
Peter has done so much. Met him at Cheltenham when Celtic Shot won the champion hurdle, His record was fantastic
I was lucky to get a few lifts back from the races from scotland and the north with him.Unbelievably interesting to talk to although it was mostly listening.
Great dude eh. Ironicly watched this just this morning. Due to this i did consider backing his 2 year old today that ran in a 3 horse race. I didnt. It won 40/1. But well done big man.
Quite a set up and good breeders are always essential for the racing industry and the advancement of racing
Whose the idiot interviewing jamie Spencer? He needs to do his research, and asked jamie if he'd ever riden for coolmore.. He was Aiden O'Briens stable jockey. Great interviews spoiled by an idiot interviewer
Good interview however this man is no world class jockey and never will be. He is the bain of most punters, easiest way to not be disappointed by Mr Spencers riding antics is to avoid him like the plague..... Whenever he rides a horse I like I don't bother to back it, that way he cannot affect my pocket with his exaggerated hold up tactics. He would never ride any of my horses even if we needed out the back & brought home as late as possible....or even off the pace on a 'non trying day's.... Marks out of 2 I wouldn't even give him 1!!!! As always good luck to us all(you will need it with Mr Spencer eh) 🤨👎🏇🏇
Life is hard enough without bitter nasty insulting commentators.
Yeh,Jamie "Stopper" Spencer. "Unlucky Jaime......AGAIN".
He was good at riding Hayley turner though 🤫
@@mickydroyboy1542 no,she said he rode like a novice chaser. Emma didn't seem too botherd either. She soon got over him.
😂😂@@JohnFletcher-hz1mp
he's a nice guy the interviewer
really good enjoyed that
Good glad 😊
How Sheikh Mohammed has been allowed to own horses with his continuous doping regime in a crime.
Probably the same way that many at Coolmore are with their close connection with Bob (excuse after excuse) Baffert.
Doping regime?
@roblawfield7224 He has been at it for years. Been caught and never punished.
@@johnsonkevin1 Can you prove that?
@nightowl7459 He got caught for doping his endurance horses in Dubai. His private jet was seized at Stanstead airport containing banned drugs. Mahmood Al Zarooni was a fall guy and had to take the blame for their doping. Why do you think all their horses used to be shipped off to Dubai for the winter?
How Sheikh Mohammed would love to own Dubawi.
He does
@@Tom-bn8okDubawi is owned/bred by is cousin Sheikh Mohammed Obaid Al Maktoum
Great behind the scenes look at place few people get to see
This man should run Britain's racing.
Lovely behind the scenes film
excellent display of some lovely horses
Enthusiasm abounds. Great conversation.
