Musk fired 50% of X in a day so that will also happen to education and other departments. Just fire the 5 layers of management. These layers don’t do any operations any way.

Why has Governor Dan McKee failed to stop the RIDEM from its failure in its fiduciary duty to the State of Rhode Island? By the RIDEM awarding a new 20-year lease to a company that has caused great harm in Rhode Island stinks of corruption. The lease is also in violation of the Town of Narragansett's Zoning and its Comprehensive Plan. It is also deeply troubling the Town of Narragansett is not filing litigation to stop the gross malfeasance of the RIDEM as the RIDEM is issuing a new lease to a company that breached its lease with the RIDEM by failing to maintain the Lighthouse Inn that Procaccianti and Paolino owned.

On the matter of moral sanity conservative Republicans have an edge over WOKE WARRIOR Democrats here in Rhode Island. The Rhode Island Democratic Party rivals old Russia STALINISM in maintaining a one party system. As longtime independent democratic socialist I think what Mike Stenhouse says about the candidates for Congress is still essentially honest. " OUR democracy " desperately needs more respect for the FREE SPEECH , FREE THOUGHT tradition of Western Civilization. The WOKE Democrats instead have become nearly pathological liars and since the LEGITIMATE election of Donald Trump in 2016 have promoted the HATE RUSSIA, New McCarthyism. The problem with these Democrats is not that they are FAR LEFT. Their problem is that they are now hopelessly corrupt. I give Mike Stenhouse credit for honesty and decency although he is light years away from my democratic socialist views.

For more than a few Rhode Island voters bright ,YOUNG Aaron Regunberg being endorsed by both " socialist " Democrat Bernie Sanders and iconic anti- Vietnam War beauty Jane Fonda is a refreshing PLUS. Perhaps Regunberg could get some inspiration from JFK in 1960 . " Get Rhode Island Moving Again ". Hopefully NOT in a stale WOKE WARRIOR direction. With a little common political sense this guy is THE WINNER. And it is very good to stick up for helpless , hopeless state and federal prisoners. And MEDICARE FOR ALL is a winning idea here in mostly working class Rhode Island. Remember Bernie Sanders WON the Rhode Island presidential primary in 2016. He had this independent democratic socialist's " critical support " at least for a while.

As a longtime independent democratic socialist I note that our entrenched talk radio hosts on 630WPRO experience fear and trembling at the thought of this bright , actually modestly " progressive ", Democrat being elected to the US Congress. For some Rhode Island voters being endorsed by Bernie Sanders and Jane Fonda is a refreshing PLUS ! Remember that Bernie Sanders WON the Rhode Island presidential primary in 2016 despite the " socialist " label ( or because of it ? ) . A while back I read a very interesting and instructive book by American socialist writer Irving Howe on the role " radical " Jews played in the organized labor movement from the late 19th century to 1930s Great Depression era in the United States. Howe's book is titled " World of Our Fathers ". Late in life Irving Howe wrote a political biography titled " A Margin of Hope " which expressed his somewhat pessimistic views on the future of the socialist movement of the 20th century. He wrote : " In the 19th century God died . In the 20th century UTOPIA died ". I myself think that neither God nor Utopia are quite dead in the 21st century. How long can any thinking people on this planet be starry eyed about the future of capitalism and the future of American imperialism ? A bright young, idealistic man like Aaron Regunberg at least has plenty of time and abundant gray matter to think all this over.

Neronha has no respect for the 4th amendment. I'll never forget the day he defended the warrantless stops by state police for those who avoided the RT 95 Covid checkpoints. He understood that they were not based on probable cause yet chose to defend them. When asked the hypothetical question " what happens when a state police officer pulls someone over who passed the checkpoint and there's a kilo of cocaine visible in the back seat" he couldn't defend the arrest of the driver because he knew the stop lacked probable cause....

I know that the voting office on New London Ave. is cheating. When I came to my turn in line and was called up. I was asked if I was a Republican, I said yes. For some reason my name was then called aloud? Why was it because I was a Republican? Also when I was in the booth, I heard the lady next to me say she was given two ballots, well when I opened my folder, I was to! When she asked what to do with it she, as well as myself, were told to bring them to the ballot counter where they would take care of it. Realizing now how stupid I was, I did too. Also the winner who was relected for District 15 was having a celebration party downstairs before the counting was even done.

It's nice to hear a reasonable voice advocating for Rhode Islanders. I look forward to September, this State needs competent leadership (as does the country) Charles may be a part of the solution. it's unfortunate that our state has been mired in corruption for most of my life and now the infection of far left ideology is exasperating the problem. It's time for change! Good luck and godspeed Charles.

Comic books replacing classic literature and vetted books. The pamphlet books are ugly, scary looking and the program sounds like propaganda. Add taking away any other books....very suspicious.

  • @matthewblaser6250

So frightening... the government removing vetted literature and delivering specific titles all from the same publishing company and then ordering specific timelines. Speaking of great literature, this certainly sounds like dystopian literature that, not very long ago, seemed like something only out of a nightmare, not like something that would actually happen.
