Matsumoto made some great instruments in the 70’s I would love to have my ash body Stratocaster back , they were quite expensive back then. I had a Westone Corsair for a little while but I sold it and got a fist year MIM Stratocaster

Hope this message finds you well and headed for a Happy Thanksgiving w Family & Friends. Years ago, The Hellecasters came to perform at Variety Playhouse in Atlanta, GA. Hours before that wonderful concert you each held a "Meet & Greet" at Guitar Center in Atlanta. We fans were there "en masses". I so much wanted to meet you but I was very grateful to have met Jerry Donahue. He showed me a few of the Intro Chord Harmonies to "List in Kashmir". He even said The Hellecasters would include that tune in their concert that night! If I'd had the opportunity I would have asked to see a small snapshot of your contribution part to "Lost in Kashmir". I'm about to turn 70 yrs, and I've played Chet Atkins Fingerstyle since I was 16 yrs old. I still today use a Fred Kelly Orange Thumb pick along with my right hand fingers to play my American Fender Stratocaster. Tried doing "hybrid picking with a flat pick but didn't have much success so I've stuck with Fingerstyle Guitar playing. Hope when you get a "magic moment" you'll consider posting a "Tutorial" of your part in the performance of "Lost in Kashmir". And, YES.. when I hear other younger guitars mention "Kashmir" I always think of the wonderful "Hellecasters'" tune of "Lost in Kashmir", not The Led Zeppelin tune(LOL). Check out my new M. David Smith topic YT. I have ONE electric and I STILL use it! It's a 1987 Westone modified with EMG 81s. All of my original instrumental compositions from 1991 to 2023 are with that beautiful guitar. I love it! My profile pic is of my Westone. Can anyone tell me what model it is? It was mixed silver/gray and I think blackish tones before I had it custom colored the gorgeous blue it is. I've researched buying a new guitar but so far haven't done so.
