I'm absolutely in floods, I have just found out about Matts's passing, totally devastated, and totally loved that bloke, I tried to get in contact over the years but to no avail. R.I.P MATT. I never forgot you and never will. Rob.
Hi Rob. Many thanks for your message. Matt's passing was very sad indeed and took us by surprise. Matt was a friend, a colleague and a great player and teacher. We miss him very much. The Chat & Jam videos we recorded a few years back are a lovely memory of Matt's wisdom, experience and humour. Best, Ian

Jamie does a lot with just a few notes. Great discipline and spacing with a haunting signature sound. At 11 I heard Opinions on the b-side of 'Thing' I knew my lawn mowing money was well-invested if spent on fixx albums.
Agreed. Jamie's playing and tone have been a massive influence for many years, since an old friend returned from the States with a copy of Reach the Beach in his suitcase! Saved By Zero was the trigger for me. Lovely person too.
Jamie is such a great and understated player with tone for days! We have been lucky to work with him for many years.
