Bisogna trattarla con più amore e rispetto.
Kill the music and talk about the process...ie. Measure the existing clearances, record them, remove the camshafts, remove the tappet buckets, change the shims within the buckets to gain the appropriate clearances then reverse the procedure for reassembly. 😎👍

I've never liked the way turbos deliver their power; nothing at all, and then BANG! but I understand supercharger power is a much nicer curve.

It's a different world when driving these classic sports cars. One I miss. Love to have one again but I'm sure parts have not become anything but more difficult and expensive to keep these cars on the road and in Top shape.

Very nice work! Its a beautiful car. The cam bucket shims (tappets) sound like they need to be a tighter, 12 to 15 thousand on a cold engine

Ma che collaudo vuoi fare ad una vettura delicata del genere! Il freno a mano e' innestato sull'albero di trasmissione con un cerchietto e frena debolmente. I freni a ganasce piccolissime rallentano e basta!

Just finished a TR4 after two years. Would have liked a set up like this
These motors had problems with lean running leading to seizure. BMC tried to sure it with carburettor needles and then lowering the compression. Neither worked. Actually the issue was vibration, the cure to use a rubber-ring from Webber carb mount for the standard SU. Simple and it works
It does not sound like my MGA 1600. Rather ragged. Fascinating to watch the restoration.
probably needs fine tuning of its carburetion. Hardly surprising, it's a total restoration taking its first run
