⚡ In this video I explain step by step how you can paint a bunch of Aster Flowers in watercolor. The technique I use is wet on wet, which means you have to wet the paper first and then use your already wet brush to add pigment. Try to follow me at every step to finish with a beautiful painting. Are you re-wetting your paper as you go along? Mine tends to dry out since I go more slowly.
I do re-wet the paper from time to time but not all of it. Only the area that I'm working on! Try doing it with a spray bottle.

That is so beautiful. I wish that I could paint "lose" but I cant. Do you have any other tutorials going through how to make a start. I dont even know what strokes to use or how to create the illusion of a flower.

This is a lovely tutorial. What kind of watercolour paints do you use? I'm thinking you use tubes and empty them into your palette but I can't work out how they are all so wet because tubes dry out and need rewetting?
Hi Kb! Yes you're right. I do use tubes. I empty them into my palette. They get dry, however, I wet them about 5 minutes before starting my painting with my spray bottle.
