Been living here 25 years tomorrow. You failed to mention the constant train traffic that cuts through the middle of Smyrna at least 15 times or more a day. Roads in general are in disrepair, and even the patched potholes are caving in. Streets everywhere need paint. So hope that helps you balance out the cons. Diversity for sure, women in full burkas in Aldi's, Wal Mart, many many people lately speaking spanish, and they don't speak any English. When I came here I attended a couple of city council meetings where they promised no more trailer parks and no massive apartments, but they would build home to build homeownership. Smyrna Tn. is FULL of apartment complexes, duplexes, and as of late quads. Hazelwood Drive, now dubbed Hazelwood Highway by locals can guarantee you window rattling in your home day and all hours of the night due to the new Smyrna culture boom boxes. And someone down there asked about property taxes. Going up about 200 every year, be in that high category like the infamously high property taxes in Nashville soon enough. And the chipper service that picks up your trimmed tree limbs and bushes, I've had a small tree in my yard for a month since yesterday. I think you guys are selling real estate? If you want to live in Smyrna, try it before you buy into it. The one good thing the property value has went way up, but the taxes do along with that.

Do not drive 34 in a 30! You will meet a militant, money hungry cop and you will pay! Your kids will be on probation within a year, and the probation is corrupt huge lawsuit, look it up. It takes way longer than 30 minutes to get to Nashville, its 30 minute drive to the other side of town. Property taxes are low, but housing is way overpriced. Do not bring your teenagers here! Law enforcement will ruin their future and hurt your wallet! Dont think it wont happen to you.

From what I see and I've lived there 27 years. The town officials seem to want to turn pegram into a large city and you pay a city tax and a county property tax. People just want to earn a name for them selves. Just saying .

So, having grown up in the town of Pegram, I have to say, this video is not a true depiction of the town itself. There are definitely subdivisions, where the houses are not so far apart. There are also options for less expensive housing. It seems you chose some of the more high end neighborhoods, much like Nashville, just with trees. I also feel like you should have covered more about the town itself, and not wasted video of you driving down the road with annoying music in the background. If I were an outsider looking in, this video definitely wouldn't entice me to move there. I am new to this page, so maybe I'm seeing it from the wrong perspective. I thought I was going to see an interesting video about the beauty of Pegram. Instead I watched 18 minutes of a real estate ad.
