I’m collecting a Warlord Games Roman Army are there any other ranges for romans that are compatible to scale ?

@@randolphmagee I bought the Roman auxiliaries and found that they are the wrong scale :/
@@wraithface4410 yes they are.If I was you I would paint the Warlord Games Romans and sell them on eBay or somewhere, then I would start again with VICTRIX Miniatures 👍
@@randolphmagee are Victrix larger or smaller than the hail Caesar line ? Hm unfortunately I have already bought two contingents of heavy infantry (legionaries) and a metal command for my Roman army without having known about the difference in scale with auxiliaries.
@@wraithface4410 VICTRIX are larger, you could try Footsore miniatures,they may match Warlord games,it's worth a try.

Warlord buys 3rd party sculpts for certain lines. Victorix does everything in house, that’s the difference in why scale changes

Lovely stuff, I never would have guessed those reconquer sculpts would have scaled up to 54mm so perfectly. Excellent work, and would love to see more footage of your process.

@@My_Toy_Soldiers Not really,Let's say it takes 5 days to paint and base a set of soldiers,then hopefully get paid £50 to £60 for them,then eBay takes a percentage then you have to post them.If I could paint 3 sets a week,lol, then I could make money 👍👍

Wonderful stuff! 👍🏻🎅👍🏻 Could you please post a link to the company that does the dragoons in the description? Also, one criticism: horses do not have human eyes. Doing them in black or a burnt umber brown would suffice. You only usually see white in a small corner or horses eyes if frightened or similar and then in the opposite side of where they are looking.

@@randolphmagee Hi Bud, at the moment i I'm painting a box of 28mm Frostgrave soldiers for my youngest who's 25 but I'm also painting 18-20 mm metal Napoleonics for a big Waterloo diorama I'm planning with buildings and fields. I started it some time ago and I'm now 60, so it should take me forever😎🛵👍

I see you've made the bows and weapon hafts stand out by painting them in clearly different shades from the man holding them. I'm realising that is the way to go for my own armies, the weapon's gotta stand out at this scale.
