Yo tengo dos maneras de interpretar esta canción: 1. La mujer tiene un buen esposo que la ama y apoya cada vez que ella lo necesita, por eso el "mi esposo y yo lo estamos haciendo mejor" 2. La mujer tiene un matrimonio tormentoso, un esposo tan presente como ausente que al mínimo contacto físico que él le da ella siente que vuelve a vivir, pero aún así ella se aferra a que él la ama y por eso dice "al menos en esta vida permaneceremos juntos" Esa es mi interpretación. My vision of this song is an unrequited love where the man had lost his woman in his past life.. over and over again, and the man turned into something immortal of a being, and waited for his love.. to relive again, once he sees her, he'll do anything to keep her safe. And by that i mean- anything which can turn him into something he'd never realize he can be, somewhat of a monster.. making himself her own fear, her own nightmare, someone the woman wants to run away from, and yet in the end, as they both slowly build up relationship, chaos to pampering.. pampering to softening.. the woman realizes the truth.. and it isn't right. He must let go. He must let HER go. Anw i got lazy so basically she stabs him in the end with a dagger that is covered in her blood in order to end their curse. (It's my OC's story btw.)

U kind of double dipping. Like want all type of dipping. That’s why is looking like that. U know ur already in one. So yeah I don’t like the chaos bc I shouldn’t have to behave like that right? My opinion about this song, don't like don't interact. Honestly hearing this song i sometimes don't get how most people interpreted this as a toxic love story because hearing this for the first time back then it meant the wife is insecure and she felt like she's a burden that always stood in the corner to not ruin everybody's day but her husband comes and saves her from her insecurity showing her that she's loved and "furrowed eyebrows" Is him expressing that he doesn't like seeing her look down on her self like that because she's worth so much more. Well different opinions, different interpretation it's not like I'm gonna fight my way to change people's mind anyway.

Sé que está en inglés, probablemente nadie lo vea(ni entienda), solamente quería desahogarme en este lado de internet. Actualmente estoy enamorada de un chico, él cuál se llama "Jonathan", voy 9 meses con él, próximos ¡¡10!! Ja, ja, ja. Bueno él tema está en qué está canción me recuerda a él, no en el sentido de lo mal que me llego a sentir aveces, si no con el hecho de que a mi parecer me veo como una "idiota" que solo molesta o estorba, haciendo referencia al "ocupando espacio", por lo que él me hizo sentir que eso de ser "molesta", simplemente no lo era para él, se siente tan bonito tener a alguien que piense así de ti, me sentía "amada"; por otra parte, suelo ocultar sentimientos y actualmente me puedo desenvolver con él, solo veo la necesidad de ocultar mis "celos/inseguridades" con tal de no ocasionar problemas y "seguir bien con él", lo que en parte me lastima, ya que soy una persona extrovertida, no me gusta ocultar mis emociones, pero lo hago con tal de quedar bien con todos, y que vuelva a hacer eso pero ahora con "él" me hace decaer. Por el momento, estamos peleados, no sé si considerarlo así, es que el me dijo algo hiriente ja, ja, ja; me dijo que confiaba más en otras personas que en mi ( todo lo que me diga me lo tomo en serio), entonces no sé porque quería llorar, intente actuar tranquila, cosa que al final si me resultó, como dije, al ser "extrovertida" puedo ocultar de una forma más fácil mis emociones... Buenooo, eso no se queda así, conversé con él, me dijo que supuestamente lo que dijo no era cierto, ando un poco herida... Pero sé que va pasar, al menos agradezco el hecho de poder desahogarme.

This song makes me think of a toxic relationship because like "I am the idiot with a painted face, in the corner taking up space. But when he walks in, I am loved." Sounds like something a toxic partner will convince their partner so they rely on them for validation. And "its always been just me and him together" makes me think of when a toxic partner will isolate their partner from everyone and convince them that they're all against them. There just seems to be a lot of language that reminds me of the relationship I in where I had very similar thinking, and it was NOT a good relationship. Also the heavy sigh at the beginning and her saying they're "getting better" and mentioning his "furrowed brow" just makes it feel not happy to me.

My own understanding to this song is that a woman has a disorder which is schizophrenia and imagining that she has a husband but died due to a sickness or an accident. From time on she turned crazy and imagined that her husband didn't die and still with her today it said "Me and my husband we're sticking together" "me and my husband we are doing better"
