I have been going there since around the mid 1990’s. The staff has always been great a true American small business. Glen from the store that you talked to was the original owner of the store and sold all or the majority of his ownership in the last few years but still works there and is always a pleasant and knowledgeable person to talk to. Go Burbank House of Hobbies!!!

The dudes in here are amazing super helpful. There’s quite a few of them that actually work in Hollywood making dioramas and miniatures. They have legit experience. The pricing is high and low sometimes amazing sales but a good variety also and probably the best shop in at least the San Fernando Valley. There’s one more I think it’s Mr. sees Mrs. S. , hobby shop off of Reseda that one has some RC stuff mixed in but the help and the friendliness of the staff at the house of hobbies is awesome

This thing sucks don't buy it. It literally does not mount 90% of cell phones in 2024. Don't buy waste of hard earned money.
Well it does was designed several years ago with the average cell phone in mind they can’t adjust to newer unknown models

@@rcdiekin hyped up the new indoor track, I boughttwo groms and a mini b. Every time I went in there was reminded how good the groms and mini’s will be on the track. I spent half the morning day after the opening rebuilding different sets of shocks, gathering tires, and charging batteries. Was psyched to get down there and do a little bit of racing and try to dial-in some cars specifically to that track only to be told they had to ban groms because they are too heavy for the track and I could only use the Mini B if I ran a chassis protector and different tires as they were not allowing the pin tires, they did in good faith offer me tires and a chassis protector at no cost for the Mini B but at that point I was a little frustrated and decided to walk. I purchased a typhon grom, Mojave grom and mini b specifically to run on their track that they said were going to be awesome for. I couldn’t help but feel just a little bamboozled. I know I’m a grown ass man having a fit about my toys, but damn I spent a lot of time prepping.
