Would be interesting to see if they will mod the lifts in tanglin halt 10 storey blocks now that most of them will be temporarily repurposed as placeholder housing. You forgot to mention that this lift was refub again during MUP to add the diamond door frames.

Wasn’t this an additional install built as part of MUP? The shaft doesn’t look like one of those additional 1980s Fujitec shafts. Moreover, this block was originally built with 2 lifts and not 1.

Despite being modernized by VM (uhh...), it's nice to see that the oldest known lift in Singapore is now back in operation and open to the public. Can be an alternative to The Quadrant's 1930s Marryat & Scott lift if one is looking for an antique pre-WWII gated lift in Singapore.

I just went there and it is GOOD, only for Lift A, very crunky experience (ill upload a video on this soon) but sadly, Lift A will be LEP on 18 Nov 2024 to 13 December 2024, which is 2 days from now. Lift B will remain normal and not affected as of what i know. After LEP it will still contain sliding doors and it may be switching brands
