Saw CB in Brighton last night, and they opened with Ride Home- blew me away. Anyone know if it's going to appear on an album any time soon?

The first half/set was all unfamiliar to me and I found it hard going. Everyday and Shadow of the Hierophant were the only ones I recognised so I presumed the others were all recent Hackett songs? From where I was sitting (not far from you by the look of it) the bass and drums were a bit too loud and I struggled to make out some of the quieter keyboard sections and the Sax/Flute player nearest to us. I enjoyed the second half when I knew all the songs but the drums and bass were still dominant. Glad I went though. Amanda Lehmann, the "lady vocalist/guitarist", is an accomplished singer/songwriter in her own right and is Steve's wife's sister.

Remember seeing him as a young girl at 16. Maybe 2000 people in a small venue the first time. Gosh, to see the crowd age with him is surreal.

I thought this must have been one of the first shows but then I looked and it was towards the end of the European leg of the tour, everything is out of wack here I wonder what was up? Still a good performance but very different from other shows earlier in the tour. Must have been an off night for everyone including the camera operators. It did give me chills the way he closed the song, kind of a hybrid of how he has closed it lyrically ever since he started performing live.
