The meaning of Tiger Eye relates to its resemblance to the eye of a tiger or cats eye. Its color is yellow brown to golden brown and it is very attractive with lovely bands of color through it. While it is not really classified as a quartz crystal, it could be said to be in the quartz family, as it is a variety of quartz with inclusions of fibers of gold asbestos which gives it the golden color.

You call this Aska adventure area, but really what makes it any different from any other area in north Georgia?
My family just returned from here. We had so much fun. My 3 boys were able to take home a few bags, each, of a variety of interesting stones. The family that runs the business is extremely courteous and takes good care of the customers. They sincerely are interested in you having a good experience. I wish we lived closer to this area to come back more often.

Our grandson Tyler has been coming to the Lilly Pad since he was a little guy. Now he is twenty and not so little anymore but the first thing he always wants to do when we visit Blue Ridge, is go to the Lilly Pad. Great place and people.
