Malakas pala dati ang football dito sa pinas 10 years from now natung video pero nakita ko marami nanunuod na fans at marami pa kung nasurpotahan lang sana ng mga Filipino ang football malamang sa alamang malakas din ang pinas ngayun sa football sayang talaga hindi din nasurpotahan ng gobyerno 😊

And over the years, Dinagyang continues to innovate... From merry making, to story telling.... I'm sure Dinagyang has better future than Sinulog....

The fact that Dinagyang have more championships than Sinulog proves that Dinagyang are far more better than Sinulog....

Di naman namin kasalanan kung natalo Sinulog niyo or di naman sumali yung Sinulog niyo sa Aliwan for some reasons.... For that instance, mas napaghandaan lng namin yung competition kaysa sa inyo..... hey ricky yu. . alam mo ba pinagsasabi mo? . . isipin mo nga do u think makakaperform ang dinagyang tribes sa stage na pinagsasabi mo? lolz dami kong tawa dito. . hindi yan katulad sa inyo na palakad2x lang at mag wa-wave doon tapos wave dito. . hahaha. oo nga 1M yung prize nyo pero budgeted namn yung budget ng tribes nyo. . haha ask mo nga mga tribe managers dito kung ilan yung ginagastos nila? 1M na prize nyo is not enough sa budget nila. and they don't care about the prize! hahaha

Whatever you will say, Whatever it maybe, It will all come down to reality that your Dinagyang Festival is on the way straigth to the Garbage Can. With little to nothing local & foreign visitor. Man lie, Woman lie, Everybody lie, But Numbers dont..

alam mo kasi philcur yung dinagyang both religious and cultural festival. .kaya nga may theme at storyline kasi pinapakita nila ang life at beliefs ng ati noon and how they converted into christians from paganism/animisn etc. to christianity.unlike sinulog na yung sayaw nila nka focus lang praising sto.niño. . kahit ano pa yung storyline ng dinagyang in the end highlight pa rin yung paglabas at pag praise nila kay sto niño. kasi yan ang dinagyang. yan ang kinaiba ng dinagyang sa ibang festival.

bakit di mo sabihin na papaunti ang sumasali sa inyong dinugyot festival kasi lugi kayo kaka-unti lang ang turista ang damadagsa dyan! wala kayong budget at 100k lang ang prize ninyo ULOL!

You're welcome @jimpypones. I love festivals. It's just Sinulog and dinagyang have different concepts. Still I love them both. There's this never-ending tale of festival comparisons (hehe) which I think is no longer relevant since each festival has its own character and uniqueness. nakakatuwa lang minsan ung ibang nagpopost na pinipersonal na ang awayan. Hehe. By the way, congrats sa Dinagyang dahil na invite sila na mag perform sa Philippine Independence Day celebration sa New York.

I appreciate Dinagyang Festival's originality on their concept to honor Sto. Nino. Watching their performance blew me away. Their musicality is perfect. The costume is undeniably one of the most colorful and best-designed festival costumes throughout the Philippines. The fast-pace drum beats can persuade others to join and dance.

HOWEVER, I still LIKE the Sinulog Festival of Cebu. No OFFENSE to our Ilonggo kababayans. The reason behind it is the way Sinulog Festival CENTERS its dance performance to Sto. Nino. They way they VENERATE the Holy Image feels more religious in such a way one can feel the holy presence of the Sto. Nino in the dance presentation itself. Maybe that's the DOWNSIDE for having FAST-PACED drum beats all the time.

It OUT-FOCUSES the SOLEMN ritual presentation in venerating the Sto. Nino. I have no intention of PUTTING the Dinagyang festival down. I was just stating the mere observation from this performance. In this presentation, I observed the appearance of Sto. Nino was merely unnoticed. I mean, I was so drawn to the fact that the APPEARANCES of the DRAGON was even more EYE-CATCHING and spent much more longer than the appearance of the STO. NINO.

It even left a trail of memory in my mind as of the moment while I am writing this comment. Senor Sto. Nino's MOMENT OF APPERANCE only lasted short. Even thought the Sto. Nino was the HIGHLIGHT of the ending part of the presentation, still it lacks the visual eye-catching experience where I would feel GOOSEBUMPS watching the Sto. Nino venerated in the performance.

It must be you & your comrades because Sinulog is far more famous than your Dinagyang & to make matters Worst, We already beated your Dinagyang not Once by Thrice. Aliwan is much better than Sinulog??..How could it be? With little to nothing foreign visitor for Aliwan Festival & then you head raised & say Aliwan is better than Sinulog? Try ask average Filipino if they knew Aliwan better than Sinulog? You must be a special kind of "Stuped"..
