Based out of Southern Wisconsin where our riding season is generally March to October, getting out and seeing all the beautiful country known as the USA is my favorite thing to do, and sharing some of the adventures here will hopefully help you find adventures!
As a lifetime motorcycle rider, two wheels is an addiction I don't want to quit, from woods riding on dirtbikes to now road trips on my HD, the sense of discovery and new experiences never gets old.
Most of these adventures posted here start in 2020, when I purchased my first comfortable, long distance touring bike, an 2007 Ultra Classic. Life hasn't been the same since..
Follow along as my good friend @DueChaos and I make new memories trying to find the best curves, the best views, and the best adventures two adult kids can discover saddled on our iron horses!

It would be cooler if the HD rider in front of you would have gotten out of the way or showered you in sparks. ;-)
Where is that at?
@@chrissmith7669 south of Mt Judea. From Jasper, take 7 south to left on 374 to 74 to south on 123.
@ thanks, I ride from OKC along 40 taking the 71 up to the 412 and over towards Harrison.
@chrissmith7669 take 40 to 27 north at Russellville to 7 then right on 123 north. I haven't been riding in Oklahoma yet, any recommendations?
@ lol. I must admit that other than puttering down Route 66 most of my riding in Oklahoma is to get somewhere more interesting.
They want to make friend !! Please give nuts for them
This road is awesome
Yes you either ride or look around but not both. Interesting seeing the MPH.
I was just looking at this road on the map, trying to find a creative way to Richlands and Tazewell in August. Thanks for the videos.
Thank you for uploading this, i remember doing the parkway and finding a swimming hole off the pisgah highway, one of my favorite roads ive ever traveled.b
The video was not made in Clifton Arizona despite the text.
I'd agree, but all the GPS and Google Maps data labels it as Clifton, even as far north as the Blue Vista Outlook that is 65 miles north of Clifton.
@@petegwisconsin I would go with accuracy over labels.
@@jimanders9971 what would you label it?
It looks like you made the video at Blue Vista so I would label it that. Or just The Coronado Trail.
That's crazy it goes from morinci to blue Vista. There's cherry lodge and also a fire access helipad but most GPS don't label anything like that. Nice view you were just afterlife Vista looks like almost to the tallest cedar tree but not quite
Awesome! One of my favorite rides.
Beautiful
We just rode (end of October) Hwy191 from Safford up to Alpine then back down the next morning for my #70 birthday (On Triumphs) Talk about all those fun sweepers, gorgeous scenery (but who can look at it while riding LOL) and HO BOY - those tight 15mph corners ! WWHHOOOO ! ! Ended both days with a huge grin from ear to ear. Quite a # of rocks had sluffed off the cliffside and had a few corners w/ deer in the road - thanks hubby for putting me out in front to watch for all of that. We came across some riders who said they thought it was a very technical road to ride, but I don't agree. Just have to know your skill set, how to trail brake and don't get crazy with your speed. Did you guys really take those tight corners at the higher speeds I saw on the video? We'll ride it again next summer and do it on a weekday so you don't have those crazy drivers creeping up your backside; we had the road both days pretty much ALL to ourselves. Nice video; thanks for sharing!
Well Happy Birthday, and that's awesome you are still riding at 70! Yes, when the speedo on the left updates as it gets GPS signal, that is our actual speed. My speedo is on the left on dash, and 12 O'clock is 60 mph for reference. I would agree it's not a super technical road, but as you stated it helps to ride your skill level and trail brake. Plus when you have been riding curvy roads for several days, it becomes very natural. We could easily ride 191 several times and never get bored, it is a fantastic ride! Thanks for watching!
This road is one of my favorites in southern Wisconsin. As time allows I'll get videos posted of following Pete through various twisty roads.

bucket list ride. we need to go back. an yes Gail, Alpine
we did the whole trip about four years ago. must return. will stay in alpine nextime
We came up 180 on the NM side, then down 191, then spent the night in Tucson. I'd ride that road 2 or 3 times in a day if I lived out there.
