UNHINGED Pilot DELETES Doomsday AI W/ ROCKS & FRISBEES - Armored Core 2: Another Age - FINAL MISSION
มุมมอง 10Kปีที่แล้ว
After over 18 hours of gameplay and attempts, pushing my hands to their physical limits, and experiencing all of the feelings on the emotional spectrum, the final chapter of Armored Core 2: Another Age challenge runs has come to a close with the defeat of the infamous Nineball Seraph. This has, by far and large, been the most difficult and time-consuming challenge I've ever committed to in any ...
Local Man Defeats NINEBALL with Beads & Sticks - Armored Core 2: Another Age - Eliminate AC
มุมมอง 7Kปีที่แล้ว
I challenged myself and my piloting skills by only using my MG/Blade build in the Old Avalon fight VS Nineball. After over 50 tries and 2 separate hour long sessions running this mission back to back, I can finally move forward with my AC 2: AA campaign run. And this isn't even the end of all the challenges in this game quite yet, subscribe up and stay tuned for more AC-related content, includi...
ONE VS THREE?! - Armored Core 2: Another Age - Eliminate Raven
มุมมอง 8Kปีที่แล้ว
I had a blast working toward and getting the W fighting these three enemy ACs at the same time. This'll definitely be remembered as one of my favorite missions of this game. This is a longer mission, so I decided to take a shot at editing the footage for the first time. I honestly had a fantastic time learning the software and figuring out all the tools and tricks to create the visuals you want...
THE LAST HIDDEN FOE - Armored Core 2 - Arena: VS Matthias (No H+) First Playthrough

The final hidden opponent of Armored Core 2's Arena, Matthias piloting his speedy powerhouse of an AC named Funeral Mask. With his defeat, I can put this title to rest and move on to Armored Core 2: Another Age! My build is as follows: Head: ZHD-MO/EGRET Core: ZCX-F/ROOK Arms: EAN-2112 Legs: ZLB-3322/OP Booster: ZBT-GEX/3000 FCS: LODD-BLAZER Generator: HOY-B1000 Radiator: RRX-COT-GK10 (Sometime...
The NINEBREAKER - Armored Core 2 - Arena: VS Ares (No H+) First Playthrough
มุมมอง 1.1Kปีที่แล้ว
Footage of defeating Ares in Arena from my first playthrough of Armored Core 2 featuring Arena Cam angle. No cheesing, No Human Plus, just a Machine Gun and Decoys.
Funniest strategy I’ve ever seen on this mission. 1000 round machine gun with two ammo packs on your back. Them radiators never stood a chance and that short yellow blade is incredible 🤌🏽
My bread and butter friend. Give me all the bullets and a blade and I can take on basically anything except Nineball Seraph and the Massive MTs LOL
How do you slow walk on ps5 controller
Just don’t tilt your joystick all the way forward
i see why people fear him now... just, teleporting behind you basically then spewing death.
I mop the floor with these ACs with my Arrow hover build on Hard. This is one of my favorite missions to test ACs with.
I hated this mission. So my build had tank legs, (edit) [light core with high optional parts], a head with high AP, quick turn extension, and the grenade launcher arms with dual plasma cannons and that's how I beat it. I died like 50 times. I recommend killing the quad leg AC first.
Yeah the Quad legged AC always tended to be the easiest to kill. At this point when I was playing, I had played through all of First Gen and AC2 with just machine guns and rifles, so I was super familiar with my play style by this point. I think it took me 5 tries to get these guys.
1. Nice job! 2. Initial reaction: "NOOO! NOT AGAIN!" 3. If you're not anime-screaming while overboosting, you're doing it wrong. 4. You're badassed to blade wave him back!
Hahaha dude glad you enjoyed it!! Easily the hardest thing I’ve pushed myself to do in a game .
@@CursiveS it's been a long time, but I remember Seraph being extremely hard in both Master of Arena and Another Age. Kudos
I straight up cheesed Seraph in MoA 😂 I was thought “there is no way I’m figuring out how to out-pilot this guy in this extremely small room with the firepower he has.” I had played basically AC1- AC: Silent Line back to back when replaying AC last year, and I had done a vast majority of the the Arena and Extra Arena so I was tapped out on First Gen😂
@@CursiveS that's a marathon. That run was my heyday, plus a bit of nexus. I came back when 6 was announced and have been catching up on the rest. Cheesing is just good strategy. Do whatever works. I cheesed half the MoA arena matches with a quad, laser cannon, and horizontal FCS in the parking garage.
I found it weird how the machine gun tracked with the FCS, however some hits didn’t register. That’s no good.
Hahaha dude I’m so used to using that gun and just letting the bullets fly it’s something I never noticed. Definitely made the fight for interesting because of that thanks to having to straight up sword some of my enemies down 😂 Thanks for watching!
I knew about this mission from Vaatividya and dreaded getting up to it. Tried out those Decoys.... I now have seen the errors of my ways. These things freakin slap. I'm proud to say I did this within somewhere of 10 tries and with 74 AP left to spare. AND despite it being all missiles, I still had shoulder missile weapon with full ammo. AND..... I profited from the mission despite all those missiles I did use and damage I took.
The decoys are so underrated man, glad this turned you onto them! They’re way more reliable than the core’s built-in AMS imo. Saved my skin in a lot of fights throughout the series. Thanks for watching :)
I see why they tried out the Sekiro stagger system in AC6, it makes for much less grindy fights than the older style. Not that it doesn't have its charm, darting around with nonstop gunfire is peak mecha, but I think it's enjoyed by a much smaller crowd rather than a broader, new audience.
Thanks for watching man! As somebody that's been playing AC since the first game, I find enjoyment in the stagger system in AC6. I know I saw a lot of vets that had choice words about it, but its a fun mechanic to manage and adds some more depth to combat. It also adds build variety too, like shotguns were kinda "eh" in Old Gen but the stagger system makes them much more viable. Sometimes I do wish we could have the option to turn it off for PVP because like you felt as well, there's def an allure and fun to taking hits and blasting through it. In old AC games you had more agency to trade hits if you felt it was worth it, this game can really punish that philosophy. Yeah old AC games were very niche in the English side of the world, AC6 has done wonders to change that thanks to everything done to expand the game.
I appreciate that you didn't use any of the NB exploits like hanging at the end of the arena forcing his AI to get stuck in front of you while trying to find your rear. Your build wasn't even a broken build compared to the items available in that game. A very sincere non-exploitive technical victory.
My dude thank you so much, for real!! I was hoping vets would see how difficult I made this for myself! That was my goal with replaying the old AC games, I wanted to push myself as a pilot as opposed to running something meta or cheesing missions. This mission here was the biggest test of that mindset, def the hardest challenge I’ve ever had with a game. Thanks for watching!
This mission isn't actually that bad. If you pull back a lot of the time only 1 or 2 will follow. The guy with the bazooka runs out of ammo very fast and then does pretty much nothing, allowing you to pick everyone apart.
Nah frankly I didn’t have a tough time with it. I think I got the win in like 3 or 4 runs here. Was a really fun win to get.
@CursiveS Oh it's definitely a fun mission. Sometimes I go out of my element and just engage all three at once to see how I stack up when they're all ganging up on me.
great video
Yo thank you so much! Had a great time making it!
Omg its litterally me
I’d do this but AA just feels like a huge slug, is this worth 100 whole missions?
Damn your good.
Because of the nightmares this guy inflicted on me 20 years ago, the sound of the Karasawa still triggers me.
O mi god
Such a fun mission honestly. Thanks a lot for watching!!
That mission hard man make 5 time for beating the encounter
"How big do you want your FCS Lockbox?" Yes
Hahahaha for real, if they were on screen, I could get a lock. What a life 😂
Ah the old 'run them out of ammo' strategy! I respect that one.
Let me tell you, when I spent my last bullet I was entering desperation mode LOL. Grateful it worked out, I’m not sure if they ran out of ammo as well or not but I wasn’t gonna take the chance and just kept swinging 😂
bro, i just barely started ac2, and I can't get the controls down AGH it slike I'm trying to operate a god damn forklift with my hands tied together!
Try claw grip if you aren’t using it already. I pretty much have a finger on every button, and then my pointer jumps from X to square, and my middle finger jumps from triangle to circle. I’ve been replaying the series and it took me from AC1 to AC master of arena before I got a solid foundation of the controls LOL. And even then, AC2 and AC AA really refined my weak points with certain missions/arena fights that pushed me.
If you want to make it easier, just stick to the walls. He can't fly behind you and it will make it easier for you to stay locked on.
weird, this version of initial D has no wheels XD
Where we’re going quell, we don’t need any wheels. Just OVERBOOOOOOOOOST🤣
That would be me, dying by accident. ^o^
Did I see it wrong or you placed decoys without switching weapons? How?
Nah I wish I could deploy them without switching weapons LOL, I’m just so used to doing it since I usually don’t have cores with AMS that it comes naturally to me. Thanks for watching dude!
Just rewarched. I missed the weapon swap indeed.
1:24 that head movements must've taken a while to do
LOL yo thank you for noticing that! Yeah I had to animate everything frame by frame, scaling the head properly when the camera zooms in and tweeting it to keep it centered on his head. Was super tedious 😂😂
My guy watching you kill nine ball with a fucken sniper is unreal. I think that fight is legit the hardest in all of armored core.
Hahahaha dude thank you so much, that means a lot!! Awesome to see somebody else recognize how ridiculous of a challenge I set myself up with trying to only use the sniper and the waveblade laser sword😂😂 It took me over 18 hours of straight up gameplay trying to get this winning run. In one session, my hands got so banged up from running this mission back to back to where I had to rest them for a couple days LOL. Easily the hardest thing I've ever tried to do in any game I've played.
Those first 30 seconds made me absolutely lose it XD This was an experience alright
LOL glad you enjoyed it man, thank you so much for checking the video out! 💪💪
I had an easier time fighting this guy with machine gun arms since they're basically full auto rifles. Just gotta equip extra ammo back parts and make every bullet count.
He wasn’t too bad since he kept burning out all his energy thankfully. Just had to pilot carefully and ended up getting the W after maybe 20 minutes.
Nineball for AC6
Dude I’m praying we get a Nineball or seraph revisit, that fight would be next level.
i've been tearing my hair out fighting this guy last few days and this video is great moral support
Hell yeah, glad it helped motivate you dude can’t as for much more than that as an editor 😇 Trust me I hear you, I thought I was never gonna get this win I got here. 18 some hours total of throwing rematch after rematch. I ran this mission so many times back to back one day, I had to give my hands a couple days of rest. But the joy I had when I finally saw him go up in smoke…unforgettable. Keep at it and good luck!
This must be what it feels like to fight a Next with a normal AC
100% Yes. I said to myself Seraph literally has the speed of a NEXT.
@@CursiveSACVD Final boss anyone?....
CursiveS then proceeded to have nightmares for months on end about this mission for the next several months.
LOL I did have my moment where I was stuck on this dang mission. But then when I came back after a break, I took em down in about an hour. Now the Seraph Mission on the other hand…that was another story LOL
At first i thought this is just one of those gameplay meme video, but after reading the story behind this gameplay (description), i was like forreal? thats amazing. And subbed.
Hahahah yeah it’s a little of both worlds, some meme edits over top what of what was the most difficult thing I’ve done in a game 😂 I’m like “If I use a cheese build for this mission, it’ll be over in a minute and that doesn’t make a fun video.” Thank you so much for the watch and the sub dude, awesome to hear you enjoyed it!!🎉🎉
I have no idea how you make this look so effortless but nice kill!
Thank you so much!! Definitely felt like one of my biggest achievements in gaming. It took me 17 some hours of running this mission to finally get a kill with this build. In one session, I played this mission on repeat so much I had to give my hands a couple day break because it was that taxing on my hands 😂
@@CursiveS I beat this just minutes after commenting. I decided to try to cheese roll him. With double Grenade arms. I finished the mission with 13 AP. Was definitely my closest victory in the whole series thus far.
Iconic
First!
<3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3
@0:29 I always pictured the va doing a sean connery impression, but Now ive seen it, I can also see how he sounds like Patrick Stewart XD
LOL glad you see it 😂😂 I can see Sean Connery for sure, but when I was editing the video Patrick was the first one to come to mind so I ran with it 🤣
@CursiveS whoever he maybe immitating it's a Oscar winner for sure =p
Now this guy has a sense of humor. I like it
Just got to this mission today. No idea how i plan to beat him. He's trashing my every attempt.
Thanks for checking the video out!! Dude it took me like 2 or 3 hours of back to back missions to finally get the win, Nineball is crazy tough especially with how small the arena is. I only got that win thanks to him missing the blade trade at the end. My best advice is do whatever you can to keep distance. His pulse rifle is avoidable at range but if he gets close he’ll chew you up. Good luck and god speed Raven!
@@CursiveS Yeah this fight feels designed to punish you for thinking that you're good or improving at Armored Core. Truly a worthy opponent.
Yo for real I felt that LOL. Made me question if I actually knew how to play the game or not until I finally beat him.
armored core 2 IS HARD, not using human plus while doing difficult mission or arena really shows one's skill of playing this game. Well done!
Yo thank you so much and for checking out the video!! I was determined to get as familiar as I could with the controls by skipping out on H+ and it’s really paid off in my playthroughs.
That machine gun solved sooooooo many problems for me..... hold on..... im getting all emotional.....excuse me... .
That gun carried me through all of 2nd Gen LOL, it lets me focus more on piloting rather than worrying about my lockbox
The appearance of an angel like a ray of light descending on the ruins Very cool thumbnail👍
Yooooo thank you so much, it’s definitely my favorite thumbnail I made and I’m really happy with how it came out😇🙏🙏 And thanks a lot for watching!!
It was a great blader play Raven! 😎👍
Hahahah my blade got some WORK in this mission, would of lost real fast without it😂😂
I originally beat him when the game launched. I am getting old. I beat him by using the same rifle and the moon energy sword I think. I got him stuck on a wall and sliced his ass up with the sword after dying to him like 50 times.
Uuug this guy, did this mission with the Saw and nothing else no extensions no blade no back weapons. Just me the saw and unfettered speed.
I didn’t have enough ammo with just the SAW and ammo packs LOL so I had to incorporate the blade. Literally the only reason I won that fight at the end there😂 always good to see another MGSAW connoisseur! Thanks for watching!🙏
@CursiveS I'm talking about the good ol mk2 ksaw 50 rounds of screw you... and prey you hit him. Srat was to only shoot when he was close or when I had a good lock on him, cause it always seems like the first shot you fire after lock on is not predictive unless you keep lock for a second or two
Another Age actually takes place on earth, not mars. AC2 is the only game to actually take place on mars.
Yeah I don’t know where I mixed that up, I was too excited making the video to realize I guess 😂 Thanks for watching!
1:20 This part is really relate, i still cant believe if his Waveblade are very strong
It does ridiculous damage, I think a direct hit on my AC would hit for 2,000 AP. Then sometimes Seraph fires two and that will basically bring most ACs to half AP LOL. Thanks a lot for watching!!
