One could argue it’s the time of the bedroom composer and producer.
Anacrusis in Thailand is one of these. And it’s been a long time coming to fruition.
Anacrusis in Thailand is not a single-genre music producer. Composing, recording, mixing and mastering all happen in a small, home studio in rural Thailand. If you want variety in your music, with melodies that stick in your head, you will enjoy this artist.

How to Create a 4-Synth patch in UNIFY VST
มุมมอง 5421 วันที่ผ่านมา
Unify is a multi-host plugin that can load and use ALL of your existing plug-ins, as well as providing over 40 of its own instruments and effects. This video shows how I created a 4-instrument layer Unify patch controlled by 3 MIDI FX racks using Scaler 2. The patch uses 3 pads, arpeggiated keys and bass instruments all controlled by Scaler 2. I use Logic Pro's Session Players to create quick jam backing tracks, as shown in this short video. Practice your lead melody compositions and playing techniques with your jam track "AI" buddies. Aura - Harmony Bloom / Stepic Sequenced Ambient
มุมมอง 190หลายเดือนก่อน
As a follow-up to my previous video, Aurora, I use Harmony Bloom and Stepic to control chord progressions in Scaler 2. Inputting and changing chords in Stepic can 'be a pain'. It's easier to manage and vary chord sequences via bound chords in Scaler 2. Aurora - Using Harmony Bloom, Scaler 2, Logic Bass Session Player to create Ambient music
มุมมอง 326หลายเดือนก่อน
This could be worth watching if you want to see how you can use Harmony Bloom to control Scaler 2 and create ever-evolving ambient music. Drones and Pads are controlled by Harmony Bloom and are created with Dawesome's MYTH and Abyss synth VSTs. The Myth drone uses a chord set from Scaler 2, with the bound chord notes triggered by Harmony Bloom. The same process is used to control a UVI Falcon a...

Submersible - an evolving ambient drone

@wavesequencer recently released v1.59 of the Hyperion Modular Synth, which includes a new Lo-Fi oscillator. I experimented with the new oscillator, and this evolving drone-scape resulted. The Third Anniversary - Missing You a remembrance tribute
มุมมอง 823 หลายเดือนก่อน
8 September 2024, three years since my Mum passed on. I originally wrote this song in 2020 for my Mum's 88th birthday. She was living with advanced dementia, and because of the pandemic, I was in Thailand and unable to return to Australia. Move forward 4 years and I decided to remaster the original song. In part, because my mixing and mastering skills have improved and to fix some minor things ...

Thanks Mario ... especially for Chord Generator and Harmony Bloom, great tools...
I am so sad for you ! Chantal
It is a very sad time ... thanks for your kind words...
so sorry for your loss, Simon thank you very much for sharing your pictures and videos of Clem and his friends
Cheers Andt, it was an upsetting video to make, but at the same time helpful. I got more upset making this than I did with the 3 tribute pieces for my deceased parents and sister. We definitley make very strong bonds with our pets...
I'm so very sorry for your loss. It's clear how much Clem meant to you. Losing a pet is losing part of your family.
Thanks for your condolences and for watching and listening. He;s left a big hole in our lives...
@@anacrusisinthailand IWe also lost my dog in May. I still feel devastated. I know how you feel. We had our Charlie for 12 years. He was three when we adopted him. He is a Jack Russell. My condolences. They are waiting for us in heaven.
@@elenagekker1739 many thanks for your thoughtful words ... I am also sorry for your loss. It will take a long time for the void to fill...
Sorry for your loss.
Your kind words are much appreciated...
Thanks for making this video - great use of HB and S2. Will try this.
Thanks for listening Bob, greatly appreciate your constructive feedback...
Thank you for doing this video Simon, much appreciated! I especially liked the ambient soundscape around 2:00
Thanks for listening. That ambient soundscape is in fact a 'factory patch', "Evolving" from Myth by Dawesome...
This is going in my playlist rotation!
Hey man I'm honoured, so glad you liked it...
much enjoyed, Simon 🙂
Always Appreciate you listening Andy, and your feedback...
im also a simon and i also love generative inwards music, peace!
Nice to meet you 'the other Simon', thanks for taking the time to listen and comment...
Beneath the stones where shadows creep, ancient secrets lie in sleep a heartbeat buried, soft and slow, in halls where only silence knows.
Thx @Maltas22 for listening and your thoughtful feedback...
Congratulations on the EP. Cool vibes. Have fun out there!
Thanks, Mr Wabbit, I greatly appreciate the feedback.
Nice piece, calming, well done, like the visuals too.
Appreciate that you took the time, Doc, to watch and listen. I think it's 'old age' I'm enjoying making these types of pieces...
The bloom sequencer is very cool.
Yes, I enjoy using it. Have a second video coming soon using Harmony Bloom, Stepic and Scaler 2 and a Mallet sound from Hyperion!
very chilled indeed, Simon thank you for taking the time to share 🙂
My attempt at sorta, software-driven modular-style music...thanks for taking the time to watch and comment
sounds great!
Thanks I appreciate the feedback. So many great ways you can use Harmony Bloom to create interesting music...
I somehow was not subscribed. Fixed. Very much enjoyed. 🎉
Thanks for listening and subscribing ... glad you enjoyed the Catacomb lol
very well done indeed, Simon! I love the plodding nature of that beat too very cool and thank you for the mention 🙂 cheers, andy
Thanks for taking the time to listen, Andy. The beat, although 'simple', took a little time to fit with the sequence with a random probability gate controlling when notes were played. I'll put this one away for a new album project - Enord's Return - to go with my existing Enord's Escape release.
Nice !
Thanks I appreciate that you took the time to listen...
I like the aggressive drone tone, Simon!
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it...
Sounds great!
Thanks for listening ... and sharing your Osmose preset customisation tips...
This was very enjoyable to listen to. Thank you 🫡💪🏼
Thanks I appreciate that you took the time to check it out...
Nice. Just waiting for some extra layers - tempted.
I;ll look into extra layers when I add Macro controls, or please, feel free to embellish...
Very cool!
Thanks for taking the time to listen and subscribing...
I cannot imagine what you went through, Simon such a lovely song, and I think your singing was very good indeed 🙂
Andy thanks for listening and you are too kind about the singing....
Lovely song, Simon. I am sorry for your loss. My mom had brain tumors at end that prevented speech, so can relate a bit to your situation. Cheers.
Thanks Joe. To be honest, it was a blessing when she passed on, the illness had robbed her of all quality of life.
@@anacrusisinthailand same with mine. Cheers.
An excellent combination with the morning coffee. Hope this finds you well. Thank you.
So glad you enjoyed this musical creation. Life in Thailand continues to treat me well, thanks for asking...
[Forgot to actually hit the "Comment" button when I first wrote this! 🤣] As others have now mentioned elsewhere, I like the length since it allows me to drift off into cool mind journeys! As Andy (Synkrotron) has heard many times from me, anything less than 10 minutes is just an intro! 😁 Oh, and I did like the visualization too! At least for the beginning before I closed my eyes and leaned back in the chair that is! 😉
Thanks for commenting twice! I enjoy making longer compositions. Keeping them interesting and non-repetitive is an art form I am slowly learning...
lovely sounds and interesting visualiser, Simon 👍
Thanks for your thoughtful feedback Andy...
what a wall of sounds! .. beautiful reverbish-lushed.. soundscape
Hey thanks so much I am happy you enjoyed the Nebula experience...
so relaxing, Simon 🙂
Thanks, I'm enjoying experimenting with this technique...
Yess , really nice and thanks for the info !!
So glad you found the technique useful and enjoyed the music...
Sounds like it should be a film score! Nice! (And, at least, three times better than the 2 by 2, no? 😆)
Thanks for listening and the extra bars/chords provide more variation opportunities...
very nice indeed, Simon 👍
Thank you! Cheers!
Keep it Simple, right? 😆 I love the irony that this isn't Trance, and yet it is. 😊
Exactly! A multitude of tracks complicates everything. Thanks for listening and commenting...
Yes yes yes, this is inspiration, imagine using more chords etc etc, great concept, I love it.
I will definitely try something a little more complex. Like I said in the video description I can't claim the original idea...
those patches are quite usable and used quite well! thanks for sharing, Simon.
From memory, of the 102 patches in the pack, only a handful didn't immediately grab me as a sound I could use...
Sounds so good! Like whales in space!

Thanks, Luke, greatly value your feedback,,,
