how to play with radmin

I try to use the patch wizard after downloading and repairing .net but it still says I need to download .net what do I do.

Is there a way to download the rom with it already patched? Or why isn't it available to download with the translation already applied? Seems like extra steps to patch it. I would think that once it's patched, can't it be shared with someone else, and they won't have to patch it? Seeking education.

What do you do when you can't get the .net install to work? I hit 'no,' and nothing happens; I hit 'yes,' and nothing happens. annoying

Steam needs a workshop option or for this to not need a bunch of manual stuff to do for this to work, I'm no good at modding if it's not a simple drag folder to the game folder then I'm totally lost.

Why couldn't they just have this as a install and it's all done for you, I just cant get this thing to work I hate modding lol

Just finished the game with all the mods and I have to say I liked everything besides the UltimateWeapons mod simply due to the thermal detonator explosion being massive and making the Grans super annoying to deal with to the point where I just wanted to stop playing the game entirely. I'm not sure how to turn the explosion back to default so probably just going to have to unfortunately get rid of the mod entirely.

I love the work this team has done on this translation patch, it's truly incredible. But after so many years, it's still frustrating that it's basically impossible to patch this thing on Linux (or other non-Windows system). It's so convoluted and elaborate, and it's impossible to get working under Wine. Every time they release a new patch I have to set up a a new Windows VM just to get this stuff patched. Very frustrating.

I'm running a 3440x1440 utrawide monitor and whenever I launch the game after trying fixes like this, it crashes. How the heck can the new console ports run widescreen resolutions but a pc can't?!

I followed everything but my screen is stretching out way beyond the boarders of the physical actual screen. Don't know what I'm doing wrong. I had no Dll like you did for the fx fix and changing the resolution in the autoexec config does nothing

ok so if anyone has issues with it saying it cant find the system file back out to the swat 4 file open sef and look for file called "launch sef" in its windows batch file format it should be there first page of the file idk why it would not work for me untill i tried this

I keep getting errors after the welcome back line, even using the PAL version of scenario 1, gives me errors for other 2 scenarios as well

I really just want to remove the cutscenes entirely they are so annoying how every single time you die (which is every 5 seconds) it plays a cutscene. I also wish the game was just easier like reducing enemy damage since the game is nearly impossible to play in the early game

Hey! I don'tt know if yoou will answers my questionn... But my game resolution by the swconfig only goes to 1280x1024... And then, when i try to open the game, it shows an "empty" screen, but i can hearr the buttons and all... I don't know if i did something wrong, but could you help me?

This has been the most comprehensive explanation thus far. I have had SSF running for a while. The other emulator tested my patience so I gave up.This has inspired me to try again, if only for convenience sake. I now play using hardware and a scaler. For those not so fortunate, these videos are the holy grail. Thank you.

Hey y'all if you're having trouble launching the Mod Organizer 2 after moving the openmwExport plugin it's because the newest version of MO2 uses PyQt6 for Python whereas the version LinkinForcer is using (from Dec. 7 2021) uses PyQt5 but since the ModOrganizer-to-OpenMW hasn't followed suit you'll get an error. Not really sure what this means on the technical side but after two hours of headaches I figured it out! So just make sure you're downloading the ModOrganizer-to-OpenMW file from December 7th 2021 so both systems are compatible. Happy Modding!

my delta-merged file is 1kb compared to your file which was 6kb. and in MO2 the plugin has a line through the text. not sure what the issue is

my delta-merged.esp has a line through it in the plugins section. any fix?

for anyone using this tutorial in 2024 you will need to install the ModOrganizer-to-OpenMW 4.1.0 as the old one doesn't work on newer versions of Mod Organiser 2

You're leaving out a key piece of information: where are you getting the DSOAL files from?

"UPDATE! When dealing with the jagamex86.dll file, please make sure that you got to the OFFSET 165580 which you will find on the far left side of the file in notepad++. That line is where you change the value in HxD. Also you DO NOT need to change any value in the OpenJK jagamex86.dll file, leave it as is." This makes 0 sense as there's no 165580 line in notepad++ it caps at 10% of that

I haven't heard word about Star Wars Dark Forces Remaster Edition having mod support to play custom levels or even use a level editor to create new or edit existing levels, do you know if the remaster version of Dark Forces has any mod support at all?
