This video was taken on the day when we ran our radial engine (Continental W670 tank engine) during the power plant part of the course. This is a quick video I shot the other morning. I wanted to get this in before the airplane was off jacks and didn’t have time to use the real camera.

This was taken with a DSLR. Our arrival on Tuesday just before the start of the airshow.

This video shows wear in the valve guide on a Continental cylinder. The cylinder had approx 1500hrs since new.

The video clip shows the rotator test prior to lapping the valve and replacing the rotator. The second clip shows the new rotator after the valve was lapped. The image at the end shows the heat signature on the valve. This is a typical uneven heat signature on an exhaust valve when the rotator stops working.
