Hello guys , not too difficult without stabilizers? what breed of your dog? because my parents 40 years ago had the same but never knew its race because it was given by friends! Short . if rescue boats also existed in aluminum would you have chosen the same in Grp?

Excellent! A friend of mine to whom I've sent your movie YT address, asked me if you had a kite ??? Its seems very logical to have on the roof, a structural pole with a winch & a kite line attached to it pulling the boat when the wind comes from a favorable direction 😄😄😄 Also, what month are you cruising, summer I suppose with very long day & short night at 65° North ??? th-cam.com/video/afG7GYmyKVE/w-d-xo.html&ab_channel=GlobalUpdate

Without Prejudice Being on a "boat", is Different to Being Responsible for The Human Lives on the "boat". During your over a Year preparing to go around the Sea, on a old life boat, you had a Responsibility And A Duty to Realize That the former Life "boat" engine would not have been regularly Serviced. Consequently, the engine, the Oil, the Fuel Tank ALL REQUIRED OVERHAULING + SERVICING By a Knowledgeable Engineer Of That Type of Engine. You should have either asked for an Engineer from the supplier to come out, Or, Lift the Engine out while you were prancing around the "Hard", doing secondary painting. It Should be pretty obvious to any REASONABLY intelligent person intent on using an old life boat to cross into busy Sea Lanes THAT you would need to Service + Overhaul the Complete Engine System + Fuel Tank + Empty Out Old Fuel, + if Necessary replace the Starter, before leaving your home port. You had no back up propulsion system, and, you EnDangered your own Two Lives, And , EnDanger the Lives of Rescue Crew. At least one of you had Studied in College, THEREFORE , you cannot claim you didn't know. You should have PROPERLY PREPARED by at least doing a basic Seamanship Course. The Danes should Send you a Bill for their Rescue of Two Silly boys, who clearly had adequate time to do other thing's, except INTELLIGENT preparation for your trips. You couldn't even Jury Rig a basic Secondary EMERGENCY Sail. Britain ruling waves...Hem! Not if she relies on you two boys.

Hi guys! I am bewildered by this, I absolutely love the journey, story and its inspiration. So much, that I am looking at one myself. Can anyone tell me what sort of license is required for open sea? Mine is on the canals in the UK and would love to hear if anyone knows what sort of license is needed if I wanted to take it around the coast of UK to Wales or over to france, through the canals to Spain. Fair winds

This is inspirational. I think being architect sometimes push you to an unbearable lifestyle, with all the pressures and such. As a young architect I feel profoundly what you’ve done as a courage choice of living and as an interesting moment to feel how your design works. Well done for the filming. Hope more contents will drop soon

Awesome idea, and brilliant execution. Just wished they would've fit a mast + sail or found a way to use an electric motor. I can't get excited about the diesel engine. 🤷‍♂️

What an incredible journey. I dreamed of doing the same thing many years ago but life seems to get in the way raising my son on my own starting in 92 was my priority that was more than 32.5 years ago. But I raised a great son and have experienced so much. Now alas my body has been suffered so much damage physically broken neck 3 times entire thoracic spine broken in a car wreck in 2014 electrocuted in 2005 dead for 3.5 minutes came back to life thankgod. I had 5 bypasses on my heart in 2020 I have been in kidney failure since 2015 started hemodialysis in 2017 3 times a week so going on my 8th year. My son two and a half weeks after I survived the by pass surgery . My only child went to local hospital they perforated his airway and they killed him. So it’s been a rough time. I live in Beaufort North Carolina USA Graveyard of the Atlantic. The Outerbanks are gorgeous unspoiled from here wild horse roaming the islands beautiful camping sailing fishing . So I Suffice to enjoying what I can where my kinfolk survived hurricanes and worked the seas. Over the years I have had work style boats converted for my lil adventures for excursions shrimping clamming oystering net fishing crabbing. Always an adventure. But watching your adventures has encouraged me to create lil adventures and put them together to satisfy my yearning for adventure. Thank you both so very much!

As a guy who restores sailboats and who has spent almost 50 years biking ,hiking and sailing all around the world, I can't tell you how enjoyable this video is! I must of watch this about 20 times. Something about what these two men have done that keeps bringing me back to it. What a great job they did bringing this boat back to life. All the best everyone.
