At least, she is less annoying than in Sonic riders or rush (because chasing Sonic is fun for some minutes but not in the long term). I can recognize she was used better in Sonic adventure 1 (unlike Adventure 2 where she was almost useless) but the Amy nowdays is still fine for what she is (and her love for Sonic is still recognized in her biography).

This video sucks 10:20 wrong! Literally nothing you say in this video is correct at all! Half the time you don’t even know what you’re talking about.
I didn’t do a lot of research for this video and I haven’t read the Archie Comics. If I got anything else wrong feel free to tell me nicely.
@@alteredishere I'm not sure what this guy takes issue with but I concur with your assessment in this video. I've been listening to people discuss Amy and it seems to me, there is an underlying tone of distaste with a lot of people. I think a lot of people support more modern interpretations of Amy simply because it rejects what they dislike, but that doesn't necessarily make the character well written. And frankly she isn't well written (in all fairness, I don't think most of sonic is well written anyway). Which is all a little disappointing because she's my personal favourite, but hopefully they will do her character justice in Sonic 4.

One weird thing about me is while I don’t feel too upset about the fact that she and a lot of characters lately have felt bland as I haven’t had as much of an attachment to the games until a few years ago, it’s sad that Amy’s getting her feelings and energy pushed to the wayside to be palpable for people that would only really see her do something for 5 minutes as Sega still hasn’t capitalised on giving other characters spotlight and depth that Shadow was given more of this year and Sonic nowadays.

@@brucegameplays69 I haven’t played the original but the Roblox remake is really fun and I know that has very similar physics so I don’t know why people hate it so much
