@@xythiera7255 I think the game is good enough to hold an audience. It doesn't have enought content to rival it's competitors. But it's also a different enough game for people to want to play it. The duality system and being able to move while shooting is speaking to a lot of people.

You are not wrong. I get that it's a bit dumb that they are that expensive but if that's what they want to charge that's their decision we are not entitled to their skins. Annoying yes but some people will pay it. The league skin was insane. It's unfortunate that some of these successful companies are setting precedents for the future... I have been having a great time so far only going free to play.

I agree with you, tbh the first wave of the store should have been cheaper skins I think they really messed up by putting the most expensive stuff at the top. Looks a bit greedy visually. They needed to build up rep with the player base before trying to charge those prices.

@@JackHippo The problem is also if you charge more then Valorant for lower effort skins then peopl wont accept that . Also doesnt help how out of touch Shroud has become when he talked about the prices .

@@xythiera7255 yeah, it all felt a bit out of touch which is a shame because the game is really good. But a lot of people are not going to even try it due to the optics of the situation.

It's pretty expensive to upgrade but if you plan on playing the game at all there's no reason to pay to advance the XP. If you play the game enough then it shouldn't be too bad. But I do think it's pretty dumb that they have the XP feature it's not necessary at all. You already paid for the skins just let us use them. Seems kinda greedy to do it this way. It's like a battle pass almost. But they are trying to mimic valorant which riot is also greedy so oh well...

@@JackHippo i mean it wouldnt be so bad if you could unlock the variants while unlocking new sponsors. The fact I have to choose to unlock a character or upgrade my variants for a skin I already paid for is kinda ridiculous

@@D3c1ine you can't unlock a Sponsor separately from upgrading a skin? That was something I didn't know as I don't have the skins. That's really stupid WTF? How do they expect people to be able to unlock all this stuff? People will get bored of playing the same sponsors cuz there's only 4 and with 2 teammates taking away you only get to pick 2 until you unlock another one.. Its a bit brutal right now with how they have done things. I get they need to make money to support development and servers.. but this is a bit much

They might need to increase how much XP you get or decrease how much XP you need but the price isn’t really the problem I mean have you seen the prices in valorant

@@Zyyloh I think there already was a XP adjustment for unlocking new sponsors. But if you can't unlock sponsors and gun skins simultaneously. That is pretty dumb. The sponsor XP should have nothing to do with the gun skins XP.

Dang that really sucks, I recently upgraded from a GTX1080 to a RTX4080 this past year as some of the other games I was playing was not running very well. I think with everything moving to unreal engine 5 its only gonna get worse. Hopefully the devs can find a way to fix the frame dropping issues... :/

Well thought out response! I agree with you they need to polish some stuff up for sure. I think once the skins and stuff come out, people will have more personalized character's so it won't look as bland. Yeah some of the intel sponsors are crazy cool. Especially combo-ing them with duality features. I hope they continue to do more of that!

I think at the moment most people have not tried it for themselves but once they play it there will be more interest. It feels much better to play than to watch. So hopefully it will still maintain a niche.

@@JackHippo imo it feels much better to watch coz fps problem is big, with 10k $ setup streamers got this game looks good but with normal pc, drops to 10-20fps in fps game is a problem, and thats not only problem with that game. dont get me wrong i though its gonna be big, not as big as valo or cs but near it. hope its gonna pop out next month and most problems gonna be fix

@@pezpl6969 I see what you mean. Yeah the visuals of the game are intentionally basic to allow better visibility for competitive play as well as running better or worse PCs. They have bug fixes to do. Keep in mind they just had their first test that was available to the public. So they probably didn't know how performance was going to be for some systems. So now that people have reported issues they are able to fix some. Even if it releases soon they are gonna need some time to push updates as they come.

Understandable, I am also in the same boat, luckily the way they play out in this game are much more tame then something like Valorant. I think if they make non ads more accurate this game will appeal more to CS players. I feel like the major change is the need to ADS so often.

tbh Valorant killed Valorant. Game was dead the second the introduced ults that kill & took away jumping on teammates. This game feels good! hope it succeeds!

Idk, if you had more than 3 in this game it would probably be too chaotic. Gotta remember than essentially this is 6v6 but only 3 people are playing each team.

This video was released prior the release of arena breakout looks like they added a few micro transactions nobody was aware of until now. Sucks to see! Gameplay is still solid though they still have a chance to correct themselves. Guess we will see what comes of the backlash!

Agreed! I get that riot was trying to follow League of Legends path to be consistent but it really ruined their game going forward as now balancing is all over the place.

We can only hope! Dev Team seems pretty solid. Idk that we will have all of those things, but if the game gets enough traction I'm sure they are going to do what they can.

It looks really similar and it in some ways plays similar but when you get in it feels a lot different. I had a lot of fun trying it out over the weekend and I think a lot of people will have fun with this game!

I hear you! CS2 was a mistake, they should not have changed it until more stuff was ready to go. It just does not feel the same at all. & this game has a bit wonky shooting depending on the gun you have & i found myself spraying while ADS a lot. But due to the recoil sometimes you just can't kill anything. It may just take little bit of time to get used to but you deff want to still go for headshots. The abilities were a concern i had as well from the sponsors. But they are way less powerful then they are in Valorant & most people have smokes so it feels more natural. The duality system allows you to counter play things like flashes and walls as well so the utility does not make as significant of an impact as you might think initially.

I beg to differ utility doesn't make a lot of impact now .. In one year there will be broken strats using only utility .. Honestly I wanna play this game just because of the fact that one player can do it .. I hate relying on randos that run around like headless chickens not knowing anything lol ​@@JackHippo

Also whether or not you can drop certain utility for your clone it can be even better I can imagine setting up traps or pop flashes that completely destroy enemies as soon as I hear them ​@@JackHippo

@@MartinMlBanic with all games that go with this system there definitely will people that exploit things. & There is already some abilities that need a bit of tweaking. I'm just speaking to the fact that they are not as insanely impactful in this game. If you are using both of your spectres properly you can easily trade and/or save yourself from dying. And when I was playing with randos I was able to place 1 spectre on each site. So I couldnt really blame anybody for losing site since I'm technically on both lmao For really good players this game is perfect as you really can shine by more easily controlling the game. There is not the "my teammates just suck & can't hold the site" excuse. & I really really like that. It's going to humble a lot of people that think they are better than they really are.

I agree it's much easier to find at least 1 other person to play with which immediately makes it feel much better as you are not always relying on randoms. I rarely have been able to find times where a full five stack of friends can play at the same time. Maybe it's just me getting old but this suits my current needs. I actually like the sponsor system it provides freedom of character customization without tying it to aesthetic of a hero like Valorant. I think once the game comes out and people can customize their Spectre it will feel more different. They could also add additional voices to allow you to choose. In a way make it more like how Halo does it.

@@Sam-zw2kp I probably could have phrased it better in the video. At the time the video was recorded I had not played the game. But there was a test this past Saturday that I got to play. So I have now put over 8hrs into the game I plan on doing a follow up video with my first impressions and thoughts soon. Sorry for the confusion!

It yeah it might be cool if there was maybe a 4v4 to make things a bit slightly more chaotic. But I understand where you are coming from the movement is much slower than CS. although I had matches that were much more intense then some of my CS games. I guess I'm just wore out by CS as I have played it for 15+ years now.

@@JackHippo yea I played spectre with randoms. Maybe If I played it with regular friends like I do with CS it would be more fun. However the same as Valorant I don't think I will enjoy the slow movement and also like Valorant I think it tries too hard to be different from CS.

@@illastration1 i think this game is more important to have people you know and can coordinate with as the utility is very team based and works better when everybody is on the same page.

In some ways yes! But this plays way differently then both of those games! Don't write it off! I really enjoyed playing it yesterday! It's a lot of fun!

I can see where you are coming from, at this moment in time it's feels a bit casual in comparison but remember CSGO was a flop on release. Have to give them an opportunity to make changes. I really enjoyed my time with the game they will need more maps and Sponsors to keep things interesting but there is def going to be a player base!

It plays way differently than CS it's much faster gameplay & whole games last about 15-20 minutes. I have over 2500 hrs in CSGO. I can see myself doing the same in this game if they stick with it!

@@JackHippo I'm talking about if CS would implement something like utilities to create RNG in games. Its alot more competitive and butt clenching when watching pro players go at it,.

@@imnotmark3053 CS needs new maps, New guns, new features. Not as extreme as a game like val or this game. But the smoke changes for CS2 are a good start. We need more maps with vents or ladders and maybe even add environmental hazards like imagine if nuke had a nuclear waste spill and it was a constant molly if you run through it, but If you do it's the fastest way to the site. IDK just something to make the game feel more dynamic

Counter strike already has the perfect balance, what cs2 needs is an anticheat system, less rng, more maps and maybe a new weapon or gadget that feels different!

@@takemeseriouslyplx2124 exactly just a little something to keep it fresh. Although completely broken at the time when the R8 revolver released that was some of the most fun i had in CSGO

Game is really fun, its def not for everybody. But no good games are. I say give it a go. It plays way more casually then most comp shooters. It's really really fun! 😁
