Hieroglyphic Trail

Back at the Hieroglyphic Trail in Gold Canyon, AZ just outside of Apache Junction. This is my 2nd time here, unfortunately the water wasn't running this time so I didn't get any cool waterfall shots. Everything was filmed on my Mavic 2 Pro and edited in Adobe premeire pro.
Blythe Intaglios
มุมมอง 625 ปีที่แล้ว
Located 15 miles north of Blythe, California are a pair of indian intaglios dated somewhere between 450 and 2,500 years old. The human intaglio represents Mastamho, the creator of life. The figures are believed to have been made by the Mohave and Quechan Indians but the reasoning why they were made is still unknown. The figures are best seen from the air which is why I took my DJI Mavic 2 Pro o...
Sloan Park Chicago Cubs Spring Training Complex With Ozzy Osbourne
มุมมอง 2355 ปีที่แล้ว
This is a compilation of shots I took at the Cubs spring training facility in Mesa Arizona over the weekend. The Cubs are known for having celebrities sing their 7th inning stretch and I chose the funniest one I could find as my background music for the video. Listen to the hilarious mumbling of Ozzy Osbourne as you view Sloan Park from the view of my DJI Mavic 2 Pro.

Drove up to Sedona last weekend for a meeting with a hotel and on the way back I found a spot outside of the Sedona Airport airspace that I could fly. Flew my drone around for a bit and was able to capture these shots of Bell Rock and the surrounding area. Everything is filmed in 4k on my mavic 2 pro.

Any restrictions on drones over the dam?
no, just hoover dam because it's a national landmark
Beautifully made video! Great quality and makes me want to go back again.
Good video; How long is Bartlett Lake?; I live in East Valley of Phx area
I spent 3 months in the Sierra Ancha Mazatzal 4 Peaks Pleasant Valley area and consider it one of the most spectacular places in Arizona.
Hey Jordan, great video. By chance, what's the location with all the Saguaro Cactus? The wife and I are driving thru from Cali to Texas and would love to check out that area. Thanks!
Tonto National Forest. It will probably be a little out of the way for that drive but it's worth it in my opinion. 2 good lake options & tons of beauty
@@jordanballard6839 Thanks so much! We actually visited Tortilla Flat's yesterday. That whole National Forest is really flying under the radar for non-locals. It was fantastic and we just explored a tiny portion of the Superstition Wilderness area.
@@JayMarroquin That's awesome! Yes, the national forests here do have a lot of beauty and more people should know about it. Glad you enjoyed your visit!
Hello! I love this footage. Would it be ok if i used some of this in my video?
Beautiful! Been there once!!!
I remember driving out to this lake from Phoenix & water skiing on it. That was a good day 💙
Nice Work! Looks great!
Very cool! Like it!
Just moved to Mesa From Mass
wow i like it!
Really exceptional footage! And I can't believe it is so green!!
Hello Jordan, it's a beautiful footage, I want to use this footage for one of my videos, I will give you full credit. May I have you permission to use it ?
Can you boat?
This is awesome spot to fly drone! Strong work! I wish I know where is the exact location where you are standing on top
When you added a heart to my comment below, it motivated me to watch your video again, which made me realize I should share it also to my smaller Arizona playlist, "Beautiful Arizona, Scenery for the Soul," so those viewers can enjoy it too! Again, VERY nice!! :)
Thank you!
This might sound so stupid but I wasn’t raised an outdoorsy person and I want to get into it but it’s just me. So like what do you do when you go here if that make sense.
Get and inflatable kayak and go boating. Also get a small tent, sleeping bag and backpacking air matress. If you want you can get a camp stove. Get a headlamp as well. Then you can camp and boat. Enjoy.
Paddle boarding is my favorite but you can also kayak or they have a little cruise boat there. You can go tubing down the salt River which is very close by.
I'm not sure where and how to get to trail #4
I'm sure the photography was great; what I saw of it certainly was! The repetitive electronic music drilled the same notes in the same patterns into the hearer to the point that I had to stop the video, and where it's unpleasant, I can't share the video. Such music doesn't convey the footage, doesn't support its expression, adds nothing positive, just redundant tones into the listener, making for a negative experience. I would have loved to see this video with melodic, instrumental music. I'm sure it would have been great!
Repetitive technomusic gave no support to this video, was unpleasant as it drilled the same notes and patterns into the hearing over and over. ~ Did you see the horses in this video? Viewers love to see them.
Nice photography! When the Sun is bright and washing out the color, you could apply a light filter in editing to restore the green. Be cautious of overdoing the artistry in editing, as it's easy to forget the purpose of photography, that of communicating the image, such that the artistry becomes very distracting, detracting from the original work. Redundant music too, repetitive music that uses the same notes, pattern and rhythm over and over, as well do not compliment a photographic work. It makes the audio unpleasant, brings nothing melodic or joyful to the video, and so doesn't add. Hopefully, you will receive these words with wisdom, and use the understandings expressed to make even better videos. To share this video, I've saved it to my large Arizona playlist, a video tour, for the Prescott section. Thanks for sharing and posting! :)
So you know, the audio/music slayed this video. :(
This is a beautiful video! Beautiful and peaceful. To share it with others, I'm saving it to my large Arizona playlist, a video tour, for the Saguaro Lake section. Thanks for sharing your lovely photography!
Re: Editing: These more-than-abrupt scene-shifts JOLT the consciousness of the viewer.
The scenery here is great! The pines, the colors of rock, the waterfall, the sunshine, all fabulous! but the music is hurting the video. I was just sharing with someone that there are universal principles of how music either reflects and expresses/conveys what is in the footage, or impacts it. Very often, people choose music they like, rather than first deciding what they want the video to express. Once they decide that, they can then choose the type of music that will express that, whether that's peacefulness, joy, happiness, epic grandeur, or deep thought, there's music to reflect every expression. Electronic music (for lack of a better term) is hard, because it's not natural to the human ear. Here's hoping this is food for thought. :)
nice post work....
We should fly drones together I'm planning trip to fossil creek do you have Instagram?
Great drone footage, nicely done
👏👏👏
Hey found your channel through the drone videos hashtag and watched a few. Great content! Keep it up 🤙🏼
Sweet, thanks for checking them out!
@@jordanballard6839 Now subscribed! Thanks for sharing your photography! #LoveArizona!
@@jordanballard6839 You had me on this one, until you brought in the manmade stuff, the modern ruins and the graffiti/artwork. That lowered the beauty of the video: the Ponderosa Pines, the Peaks and Lake Mary. I so wish you could separate those two types of content. I would love to include your Nature videos into my 2 Arizona playlists, the large video tour of much of the State, and the smaller compilation, "Beautiful Arizona, Scenery for the Soul." These playlists are about Nature, and not the other, no offense to your worthwhile photography skills. If your Arizona videos are all mixed like that, I won't be able to share them. :( Here's hoping you have some that aren't mixed. Thanks!
Beautiful, my friend ! :-)
Much appreciated 🙏
Nice🙏🙏
Amazing movie, great work !! :-)
Omg 😮 this place is beautiful! Great vid! Now i’m thinking of making a visit.

Thank you!
Great movie :-)
Nice footage! Thanks for sharing 👍
Thank You!
Very nice !!!! :-)
Nice. I would love to fly there but Laguna Beach has a No Drone ordinance. How do you get around that? Just take a chance? Thanks
I used an app to request permission from the FAA but totally forgot to look at city laws 😖. Luckily it was less than 10 minutes before the fog rolled in.
Very nice, good work !!! .-)
Great
Amazing movie, good work :-)
Thanks Petr, I appreciate it!

Great job. I live near there and have been out on the Apache Trail many times. But this video offers a different and great perspective. There is some wild territory that is difficult to get to and see. Thanks for posting.
I appreciate that so much, thank you!
Very interesting. Actually it's my first time knowing about drone. I'm learning thanks.
Wow! Really nice job. My stepdad flies drones. I'm trying to talk him into upgrading to a video drone. :)
Amazing drone shots here Jordan!! I was just wondering if you have ever heard of AirVuz?! AirVuz is one of the best places for viewing and sharing drone vids on the internet! Go check AirVuz out!
