Then after a few years he goes out on his own and leads a team of other teenagers to do the same thing, baring the pressures of life and death decision making. He grows more and decides to have his own identity separate from his father, becomes Nightwing, moves and has his own city to protect while also working with the Titans, and then creates another team of young heroes that he is responsible for and has to lead. He even leads the Justice League at one point because he always needs to be ready to stand in for his leader father Batman. Dick has dawned his bat suit on several occasions for the sake of others, at his own emotional expense because he never wants to actually be Batman and has been trying to get away from it and establish himself as a hero in his own right, and even took care of his baby brother Damian for a year when Bruce left. He has just as many pressures as Dick Grayson, eldest son of Bruce Wayne, oldest brother, protector, and guardian of 3 emotional, traumatized, child soldiers, the positive and reliable heart of the Bat Family, and heir to Wayne Enterprises, as he does as Nightwing, leader of the Titans, leader of Young Justice, protector of Bludhaven, the golden first Robin, and constant Batman stand-in and back up.

If you look closely you see Dick being the best big brother to all of them :)
