Don't get me wrong it's a nice board I'm just saying those 6 pieces being off center was instantly noticeable..

I agree! I would never sell this one to anyone. It was for my wife. It drove me nuts also. I won’t ever make one again. It already took 5 glue ups to get to this point. It was going to take at least one more to fix it. But at that point I was done working on it. But my OCD hits me every time I look at it on my counter.

@Highway69RusticDesigns I mean you could lean into it and make them all off center, like spilt it into 1/4 make a pattern out of it then follow the pattern for the other 3 sections but face them in different directions. It's a great looking board, the square-ness of the rest just make those couple of sections pop to the eye. The Japanese make bowls and rice containers the same way you would make a barrel, except with a barrel your forces the joining faces together and the planks are so big they don't have to be prefect. But when it's small the joining faces have to be within like 1000th to be water tight and I've been trying too learn the technique for the last 8 months or so, and it's very simular to this kind of project because the pieces all have to be exactly the same. So I feel your pain it really isn't easy even with the proper tools.
