Hi Mike Thanks for leaving a comment it’s greatly appreciated. I don’t think we hear enough about the good things AI is being used for. I know you said it is with limited success but a lot of its applications are still very much in their early stages I’m guessing, and will improve enormously. I’m in the Motor trade and have been since leaving school in now 58. I am a trained motor mechanic but have been off the tools for years. I now deal with the wonderful British public on the service desk ! I keep thinking I might one day do a little walk round video at work. Best Wishes Tim 😊👍

@@timsinstaworld Agh, that's why you are so much into fiddling with stuff and were renovating the Minor Morris car! Really enjoyed the videos for the upbeat, yet at the same time quiet down-to-earth mood you would get into the work. And yes, would be interesting to come along with you to your work, even if virtually. A service desk, that's something rather new to me. I think I've only heard of a help desk, must be something similar I reckon? Being 27 myself, I do feel and look quite younger my age, and haven't worked anywhere yet. I'd love to experience that one day though.

@@GusliMike Thanks Mike Yes I love having a little project on the go either fixing something or making stuff. There are 3 of us working on the service desk, we make workshop bookings, check customers in and out, raise job cards before the service or repair work is carried out and then invoice the job afterwards. It’s an interesting job and no two days are the same really. I’m the only person on the desk with any technical experience so I do get asked lots of questions during the day. It’s quite any easy job really but very busy !!! Best wishes Tim

Can't remember the exact speed Patrick but it runs similar times to the top fuel dragsters so somewhere in the region of 300 mph over the 1/4 mile and about 4.5 seconds !
