I just finished the book and when I realized that the hardware store scene was filmed in my hometown of South Gate, CA. As a kid, I even went to that store to buy stuff for my elementary school projects 😊

This movie is 1 of the greats. I've watched it at least over 50 times. If you're from the Bay Area like me. It draws the movie closer to you, especially Berryessa. This made me always look over my shoulder out there.

Paul dorr is a new suspect and he has a lot going for him he looks like the zodiac sketch he lived near the same areas and he had a costume identical to the zodiac’s costume but Gary poste is also a interesting suspect

Just a theory, but what if there were several people involved in the Zodiac killings? Maybe it was Arthur Leigh Allen physically shooting people, but then someone else wrote the letters and the ciphers. Just a thought
Crazy right I live in Woodland California, which is like 45 minutes south from Vallejo I actually visited the Herman Road lovers lane a couple months ago back and to actually see it was errie and interesting. And really was dark and absolutely nothing out there but a winding road
I love this ending. While it's left ambiguous if Leigh was the actual killer (because we have no idea if he was), Robert's high suspicion is enough to bring him closure to what has taken years off of his life. It doesn't matter if Leigh is the Zodiac, it matters that Robert made his peace.
Being a Gen Xer, for some reason to me it couldn't get any more authentically reminiscent of the late 70s than being in a small hardware store with Baker Street playing on the store speakers.
