Thanks! I feel like there's better spots but I have a hard time reading the note density. These are just easy coz they're frontloaded, the second one I just needed to spend the bar somewhere lol

@@mononaut lol. Try getting some spikes and rushing thru the first area sometimes and then killing enemies in the jungle, that's how you get rich

To add to this that's also how you learn to survive the jungle, you'll have to figure out how to deal with the lads if you engage with them actively

It's like every map is an ITG modmap or something, with an obfuscated lane that messes with you all the time, and you just have to learn the consistent rules of the notes you're seeing while it's really just hiding a really simple rhythm chart.

This is true. On some of the other difficulties, the same sections can have different enemies.

I still think it should have horizontal lines because Glass Cages gets incredibly unreadable with the alternating slimes.

I highly disagree. Rhythm heaven was more about feeling the rhythm and audio queues were always present. Sight reading was also discouraged. This is definitely inspired by the dance pad games and guitar hero since sight reading reigns supreme

The vibes and construction of the charts in the demo kinda gave me a rhythm heaven feel. Usually I struggle a lot with hard/expert difficulties in rhythm games coz of how dense and fast paced they are but here it was more about consistent rhythm and accuracy. Idk, ofc the game is nothing like rhythm heaven but it felt like it took some notes off the series for how the difficulty works. We'll see in the full game, which apparently has actual rhythm heaven style mini games! Rhythm rhythm rhythm

I liked how the charts in the demo were more focused on accuracy and keeping a consistent rhythm. I have hopes for the rest to be as good. Felt a lot like the rhythm heaven games. And if not I'll at least enjoy the artwork and music

It looks like it's all about sight-reading, which is super cool and I'm down for it.

@@olixx1213 I got a 1.48 later by adjusting the vibe timing yeh. I wasn't sure if it was about enemy type or note density or what, turned out it's note density.

Like I said in the description it took me a while, maybe 7 hours. I actually got a better score last night(1,48), I wanted a 1,5mil but had to leave for a trip

To add to that I also got a better score than this(1,44) while not getting a full combo by hitting better timings for the boost thingies. It's not all about perfects and FC, tho those are necessary for the best scores

Can you be more specific about what part of the video you mean? In general you can quit out of the game and it'll reset the room but there is no undo in the game otherwise

From 5:10 to 5:18 you open a chest walk off the platform then suddenly pop back on top of the platform and finish the room that's one of the mistakes I saw that were magically undone. Pretty easy to catch. Even makes the animation of falling.

@@Ahfuds It's a grace period. If you're about to fall you have a little while to walk back on the platform instead of falling. Works with wings too, even when flying above nothing.

@@DanielG-e8t yeh it's mostly the bosses that are the hard part. Lillie burdenless def has the hardest puzzles so you're right on that

A bug can happen that skips that mission. We don't know why, but on some computers running the game in windows 7 compatibility mode can cause it to be skipped, which is what happens here. If you want to see a run with that mission look for an all chapters speedrun
