The Gold Portraits are a little more forgiving than you think. You don’t need to catch the ghost in a single cycle, you just need to drain 90 health in a single cycle. So that one time where Mr. Luggs immediately broke out of the vacuum, there wouldn’t be a need to reset. Just as long as the portrait ghost drops a big pearl, that means you got the gold. Henry & Orville and the Clockwork Soldiers are a unique case. Turns out, only one of the ghosts in these groups determines the rank because it’s always a specific one that drops the pearls. Orville (the one riding the plane) drops pearls and the Blue Soldier drops them, so you’re free to mess up the other ghosts without losing the rank. Unfortunately it seems that this information only would have saved you a couple resets because these issues don’t matter much in the portrait ghosts that gave y’all so much trouble… I DO have a pretty good tip for Boolossus though! Luigi’s animation for grabbing the Poltergust takes too long for the end of the fight. But you can bypass that issue by holding both L and R! R takes priority over L, so you’ll be using the vacuum and won’t scare away the boos. Then when you wanna shoot ice, just let go of R and Luigi will simply switch from vacuum to ice without the pesky animation keeping him in place. Now just pay attention to the boos cackling because that’s when one of them is gonna ram into you. It’s the perfect opportunity to sidestep out of the way and switch to ice on a dime to catch them as they pass right in front of you. This can still be a little tricky because you need to be facing the right way by the time the boo charges at you, but it’s a LOT less annoying to deal with in my opinion. Just be sure to not hold down L all the way though since that shoots a chunk of ice and prevents you from using the ice as a spread attack for a brief moment. When I did an “all gold portraits” run myself, I was playing through the Hidden Mansion, so Sir Weston was no match for the stronger Poltergust. Props to you for doing it in normal. It certainly didn’t look or sound easy

As a Kirby fan who played it, I can confirm that it’s underrated. But I DESPISE the lava in world 6, THE WAY IT INSTA KILLS YOU (which has never happened in a previous Kirby game) IS PAINFUL

Wow I've always heard Undertale was inspired by the Mother series but I never realized how much until I watched this video. Cannot believe I never thought to give it a shot until now but I've always loved the humor and the way it stepped outside of expectations when facing enemies with the ACT system instead of just fighting and killing every monster you encounter. I now have another game to add to my wish list 💕
