To put it simple, God doesn’t fit SOME of the human’s definition of “good” and most humans don’t fit God‘s definition of “good”.

Please cite the scripture. My understanding is that repentance is needed for forgiveness of your own sins. The actions of others need to be forgiven by us regardless of repentance from the other party. Christ died for us, before we even believed. Romans 5:8 says, “But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners.” Read Matthew 18 15:35. Jesus's instructions on how to help a brother or sister that sinned and how God will treat us if we do not forgive others. ”Then Peter came to Jesus and asked, “Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother or sister who sins against me? Up to seven times?” Jesus answered, “I tell you, not seven times, but seventy-seven times.“ ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭18‬:‭21‬-‭22‬ ‭ ”“Then the master called the servant in. ‘You wicked servant,’ he said, ‘I canceled all that debt of yours because you begged me to.
