These are all valid things to check, which I've done repeatedly on my MF 1700. The POS still won't start. Likely a safety switch, which I have no idea how to check or troubleshoot. The thing is practically brand new and there's no local service shop.

I’m new so please take with a grain of salt and use caution, but they typically work for me, are more for detaching the hoses. First of all make sure they’re always properly cleaned. Yes every time if need be BEFORE connecting hoses. Any debris will make this all way more difficult. Next WHILE THE HYDRAULIC BRAKE AND PARKING BREAK ARE ON, you can wiggle the joysticks to help relieve the pressure. For this I tend to make sure the throttle is up but the breaks MUST BE ACTIVATED. After that I turn the throttle down and shut down the machine before getting out and disconnecting the hoses.

How do you turn grade control/grade assist on if your dealer has turned it off

Tons of all green yrds turning to Lexion combines up here in Sask, Canada. We have some of the largest farms in the World and that is with heavy crops. 25,000 acre farm I was visiting for farm input meeting and he only has 6 lexion combines and finished before many other farms this year. Super well run operation and they love their Lexions.

I've just been getting to grips with these systems on a little 315 today. Had to work out how to re calibrate the bucket position sensor, but once I did, it's an absolute game changer. I've been operating 22 years and am not one of those people who say the likes of "a real operator don't need any of that computer or GPS stuff". I hear that BS from bitter, miserable assholes all the time.

For training it says I will go out of state for training, how long are those trainings? Weekend,weeks, months?

Can you connect to a corrs network and do your calibration under that? Once complete shoot a control point with you rover. Set the base up on that point and tell it what it is by choosing the control point. Would this method work the same? Thanks.
