Locals won't go to the Lee Co hospital. Good paying jobs are few, most commute to other counties. Traffic growth is causing more wrecks. One of the worse decisions i ever make in my life. I became a targeted individual! Upon complaining about the racists poplice department. One of the worse downtowns and surrounding areas ive seen. It is definitely built for a much smaller place! And city officials didn't have the vision to grow with the population.

I knew not well to do people left Fayetteville. If this population leaves, you just know you had nothing!

Lack of racial diversity. It is a black and white city. When I first came in 2007. There was a Latino bank, a Latino television station. Both of those has sense been gone! If your city doesn't have racial diversity, your city is on a decline. It really is simple as that!

I never felt unsafe with crime. But the police and the establishment in 2007 to 2015 was the worse! Racism and the lack of government responsibility to people's needs is why Fayetteville NC is so bad.

Lifeless! Stuck in the past. Inability to transition to the 21st century. Decline in built up infrastructure. No vision! No variety for shoppers. Poor public transportation. One of the worse downtowns for a city for it size. Good. Inexpensive to live property and food. The lack of variety just means you save money that you would have spent.

He has really great information. We lived on post, but we had plenty of friends that lived off post. There is everything out there, good food, plenty of shopping. There are a lot of great communities around post and a little drive away.

I lived in Fayetteville from 1965 to 1978. I attended Elizabeth Cashwell Elementary School and graduated from Massey Hill High School in 1971. Our home was located in Lake Lynn. I also lived on the base then known as Fort Bragg. Dad was in the 82nd Airborne. During the time I lived there, crime was not bad. My brother still lives there. After I moved away, crime started getting bad in the 1980s. I now live 100 miles north of Houston, Texas.
