You said it keeps producing timber. That's the Lord pouring His blessings out upon you. He said in his word he was provide ever made, and I'm thankful for that.

I agree this has been a slick snow. I'm glad to have a longer video. I enjoy watching so Kentucky boys getting done. Y'all have some beautiful horses.

Glad to see my big mare working hard!
Good to see Big Bertha still looking good! I could tell when Steven and Henry had her for sale, she was gonna make someone a real solid work horse! Glad to see you guys giving her all the work she can handle! Thanks for the video fellas!!
Boy! Get your coat on 😂
great day to log...appreciate the audio explanations...Christian looks like a big ol boy on video
What an impressive video. That tree was quite large. Subscribed!!!
@@Mainelyoffgrid thank you for watching it is
Nice to see someone else who likes choring with horses. Up here we get quite a bit of snow and it is hilly and the hassle of plowing a road out every time I need to grab a wagon or move something is more work than just using the team. Gives them a bit of work on an otherwise lazy day....and no need to plow snow.
We appreciate you taking the time to watch we love working with horses
Christian must be burning up out there with that short sleeve t-shirt on. 😂
@@rickmitchell7719 I know it’s crazy he said he got hot unloading it’s was just 20 degrees today
I bet that 61 does a good job. We used the 55 when was the logging and it done a wonderful job also.
@@rickmitchell7719 thanks for watching it is a hoss
Glad to see y'all still been able to get it done as bad as it's been here in Kentucky.

The weather is looking ugly down your way. When the temperature dips here in WI, my horses start consuming water like it could be their last drink. King looked like it was a twig he was pullng. Very mellow horse. Stay safe and stay warm.
those all your boyz? or ya got more in ur quiver

Freind mine had mule that would jump with 3 foot plow ,had new shed inch oak boards ,pulled him up to it ,blindfolded hooked him up called on him ,last time he jumped under load,he steped out easy after hit the wall
@@randymarcum4216 got some sense knocked in him
Cool video but not a lot of explanation on how to get the horse to not snatch the load. You will improve with time.😊
appreciate the pulling tips...praying for youns...search for Dr McCullough's protocol to build the immune system

very nice and wonderful video.
I like Ol King
You can get trailer gears put into the old mowers. They have higher torque for slower pace of horse

I love how you can tell your horses to sidestep and they do it. I've watched quite a few logging videos and you are the first one I've heard use that command. And the horses are great at doing it. I can see it is very handy. I'm a pretty new subscriber, but I'll be watching. Thank you

tough pull
About how many logs can you cut on average with one blade and do you sharpen your own blades thanks for the video
@@lawrencenachtrab735 we do sharpen and set our own blades it really just depends on what we are sawing but usually we get 300-400 board feet before sharpening
You know I use cooks blades I didn't like them from Joe for what I saw I do mostly sinkers that may have been log in the late 1800s old growth yellow pine and cypress and also a little black walnut it is hard woods yes even the yellow pine is a hard wood when it has been on the bottom of a river for over 100 years it gets hard all sinkers are usually hard from the water not letting them to dry out so fast and not much bug problems with them either but I think I have told you that cooks is one of the best mills out there they have them woody mixes beaten up and down I had a lt70 and a lt40 they were not very good for what I do and I worked on them more than I sawed but UT has a bunch of salesmen that will tell you how great they are and they have one thing in common and that is they just started sawing wood and where something else for a living for cop's to rocket scientists 😂😂😂😂😂 God Bless Y'all and have a blessed Christmas
@@geneporter4849 thank you for watching sounds like you get to saw some unique stuff
@ just a little I have 100 acres with a few cypress ponds on it and a pond where they use to put logs while they would be till they had time to saw them the people who owned this place had a lot of land and they had a old frick I would have loved to have got it and restored it but they sold it for scrap metal years before I bought the land I have but it is a old growth track of land in the middle of paper wood trees not many places like this left in the state of Alabama and I’m just a few miles from north west Florida where I have some land that is the same way most of the logs I have pulled from the swamp where cut by axes and two man saws it is history and I have a big thing I like the older things I don’t think I will ever sale this place God Bless Y’all and have a blessed Christmas
