Whenever a planet gets liberated or successfully defended, the only players who can still play on that planet are those with missions remaining in on-going Operations. But you can’t matchmake for those remaining missions, only invite people. While technically an exploit, this is a workaround that the devs put in the game. It keeps players from being kicked out of their own Operations (and their rewards) just because they went AFK or went to bed mid-Operation. When everyone else got forced FTL jumped back to Super Earth, some players were still planetside on Meridia. If those players on the surface still had at least one mission left in their Operation, the game let them stay in Meridia’s orbit with invite-only lobbies. TL;DR the devs let you stay and complete operations and get rewards if you have missions left when the planet is conquered. This resulted in something really cool on Meridia that I’ll cherish for years to come, so I think the devs would be happy to see it.

They survived and reflected a few more Adjudicator shots than normal. They also tended to survive close jetpack explosions, where normal jetpack raiders tend to die instantly. I've heard reports that the elites throw grenades but have yet to see that.

@@WisdomThumbs Last time I checked was you get the deflect icon, but still do the same damage, hence the armor disable thing. Idk the current situation.

@@ChaosTheKing1337 That type of jetpack raider is chrome, yes. They also have a unique jetpack and slightly more armor. They’re part of the “Iron Fleet” seen by dataminers. AH is slowly rolling them out in secret to surprise players.

When we had the moon planet they were fully black to blend in. It was quite cool seeing it.

@@S4LeagueTBKing Damn I just got my first lvl 10 wins on Claorell, a moon-type planet. Didn’t meet any all-black bots, but I was looking too hard for the chrome bots. 👀

No "possibly" about it. The Moradesh scientists made micro black holes, but the Meridia hole turned into something they didn't expect. They just can't admit there were complications, because the public needs a victory right now. I'd warn everyone "I'm not suicidal," but let's be real... We're Helldivers.

Hit the back of the turret where the vents are. Exposed vents are weaker, but all vents are susceptible to explosives or armor-penetration. Hitting the rear of the tank also works but does less damage. You can also blow up a tread to stop it moving. Just hit the tread itself, not the armor on the top or sides.
