We chose this song because as Christians we trust in God to fight our battles because He is all powerful, sovereign, and great. The chorus says, “it dey happen as you talk am” which means that things happen according to what God will and what He has said. We need not fear the threats of the evil one because our God holds all power, time, and decision in His hands and He says, “No weapon that is fashioned against you shall succeed, and you shall refute every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord and their vindication from me, declares the Lord.” Isaiah 54:17
