Radian® AFTERBURNER™ + RAMJET™ for GLOCK 17™ Gen5, G47™ & G49™
The Radian® AFTERBURNER™ + RAMJET™ combo provide unprecedented recoil reduction and match grade accuracy in a concealed carry package. The threadless barrel design allows for effortless install/removal for cleaning, while LEGAL FOR SALE IN ALL 50 STATES*.
The AFTERBURNER™ compensator is machined from hardened stainless steel and the RAMJET™ barrel from hardened 416R SS; both are enhanced with a Radianite™ coating. This combination achieves low friction, high hardness, and high corrosion resistance, making overall durability and erosion from muzzle blast a non-issue. Angled front faces on the AFTERBURNER aid in holstering.
The INTRA-LOK® mounting system uses the taper lock principle; a tapered locking screw interfaces with an angled V-groove on the underside of the barrel. This perfectly times the compensator as it locks down onto the upper barrel profile on the muzzle end of the barrel.
INTRA-LOK® allows the user to simply slide the compensator over the barrel, insert and tighten the locking screw, making for a simple and repeatable installation process. This system allows the user to easily remove the barrel from the slide for cleaning.
Installed onto a Glock™ G17™, the AFTERBURNER™ + RAMJET™ combo only increases the overall length of the slide by .47", allowing compatibility with all G34® holsters.
Engineered specifically to run 124 grain and heavier 9mm ammunition.
This combination kit is for: GLOCK™ G17 Gen 5 / G47™ / G49™ (or compatible)

Please go back to the original triangular shape for both the barrel end and comp. This helped to clock and align the comp and it felt like a more solid fit between the barrel and comp compared to the newer circular design. With the newer design, some care has to be taken to align the ports, the tapered pin helps yes, but in my opionion i liked the 1.0 version more. Still a great product by a great company.
Without a red dot you are a bit handicapped. Red Dot really makes this faster

Yall better watch out for those new design as it’s cheaper to make and you lose the teardrop design on the comp so the only way it is being retained is by the taper pin. The first design you would have the tear drop barrel match with the tear drop on your comp and they would perfectly mate and then you would add the taper pin.

Recoil mitigation is optimized with 124g. With good grip and a fine tuned guide rod spring weight, it will run 115g.
