Hi Rahul, if I understand correctly your time sheet is auto-filled and locked to a project that you’re not working on? If this is the case, it might be that your senior team has formally assigned you but the project hasn’t started yet (they’re still negotiating or there’s some dependency that needs to be resolved first). If this is the case, you will just need to wait until the project starts (try and use the “free” time to do training while you wait). The other option is that there’s been a mistake and you’ve been incorrectly assigned in the system. If this is the case, you need to speak to your staffing manager to ask them to help unassign and unlock you. I suggest you speak to your staffing manager anyway and ask why you’re locked to this charge code in the first place.

Yes - always know 1) how to search all existing materials your colleagues have already created, 2) how to find the right expert for a given topic, 3) why that client is asking (because it helps you position the POV) and 4) which online sources are credible/respected enough to use in research
